Looks can be deceiving. The F91 might be small but after putting it together, I realize that it is the same height as the MG Sazabi! Amazing!
:)
Anyway… I’m about to finish the rest of the model (weapons) and apply the decal then I’m calling it good.
Did you all (Americans) had a good Independence Day? I had a blast (literally) ^^;. ~$600 worth burned in two hours xD…

July 5, 2009 at 3:15 PM
Woooo nice… you finished the smallest available MG kit (MG Ball is actually bigger than F91)…. Must of been a pain for the eyes.. with all those miniscular parts
July 5, 2009 at 3:33 PM
lol oh, of course, the Sazabi is just as big as F91 *sarcasm*
but that was a funny idea
And 600 bucks in two hours!?!?! :O
July 5, 2009 at 3:48 PM
Yeah haha. That is sazabi’s son ^^;
great works as usual Z! And for what that 600 bucks??? You buying a lot of PG?
July 5, 2009 at 4:34 PM
I think he means fireworks?
I live in Canada, so we celebrated Canada on the 1st. The Toronto fireworks were down, thanks to a strike, so we had to go to one in a suburban city for them. Funny though, since they were longer than the actual Toronto ones. It was free though, so I saved myself $600 :).
That, and I watched Independence Day, the movie, on Independence Day without realizing it.
July 5, 2009 at 5:49 PM
You mean HGUC Sazabi, but close enough. D:
Great idea for a post. XD
Also, how in the nine hells did you burn 600$ in two hours?!
July 5, 2009 at 6:13 PM
Woah… F91’s size sure exceeds my expectation…..
@Ignis: We knew that. Can’t we just played along? XD
“Burning” money, eh? lol It was done often on Chinese New Year too, though I would never do that. I’m satisfied being just a spectator.
The only decal you’ve done so far is the “F91″ on the shoulders?
July 5, 2009 at 6:28 PM
Nice HGUC Sazabi you got there. :) When I looked at the picture after looking at the title, I just smiled after taking half-a-second to figure things out. Smiled even more after the text of the entry. I didn’t read the other comments yet, but maybe others above me figured it out already too. Unless I’ve gone mad somehow…
I had an alright fourth. Nothing too big as far as fireworks goes, though. And I didn’t have to spend anything. :)
July 5, 2009 at 7:11 PM
hahah good idea Z!
July 5, 2009 at 7:12 PM
I know thats not a MG Sazabi i have a MG Sazabi and a MG F91. uless they made more then 2 version of MG Sazabi.
July 5, 2009 at 7:16 PM
Chris, just stating the obvious. :)
Also, he just said he needs to put the decals. :o
Is the F91 smaller than Crossbone?
Also, beware of the crappy elbow joints. My Crossbone Full Cloth can’t hold his weapons because of the joints. >_>

July 5, 2009 at 7:49 PM
Yeah, riight! You can’t fool me!
That’s the HGUC Char’s Gelgoof Newtype Version! :D
I could tell because the head makes me drool.
July 5, 2009 at 8:02 PM
Actually the first thing that gave it away for me is the colour of the beam saber.
July 5, 2009 at 8:08 PM
@Ignis,
I think MG F91 is slightly shorter by few mm than MG Crossbone.

July 5, 2009 at 8:18 PM
@sbhboi,
Oh, I can’t (wait to) see the 1/144 version.
July 5, 2009 at 10:01 PM
the shortest MG beside the tallest HGUC, lol!
July 5, 2009 at 10:03 PM
OMG, the F91 is HUGE! XD
Anyways, how did you spend $600 in 2 hours?
July 5, 2009 at 10:51 PM
$600 bucks on 2 beers xD
July 5, 2009 at 11:15 PM
Its deceiving….
LOL 600 dollars… My guesses are: plamoo, parts(the honcura), B3333333333R, more Money, A pool and a cat
July 5, 2009 at 11:56 PM
Ah… once again my pranks have proved to be… futile. xD
Some of you are reading it wrong… “~$600 worth burned in two hours” was referring to fireworks. I didn’t personally spend 600 but the combination from all my friends came out to be somewhere north of 600. I contributed $90. I must say… we put on quite a spectacular show for the audience :D
Anyway… I just accidentally broke the F91’s right palm… damn that’s some brittle POS…
July 6, 2009 at 1:39 AM
Whoa….600 bucks?! This no joke man!
July 6, 2009 at 5:01 AM
f91 is that tall?????? wew… that makes it one of the tallest MG kits then… XD
July 6, 2009 at 5:05 AM
lolz!!
Z! you’ve make my day!
*rolls around lol’ing*
July 6, 2009 at 5:34 AM
Having them side-by-side does look convincing as if they’re on the same scale! XD
July 6, 2009 at 5:52 AM
Z, oh. That happened on my Crossbone, too.
Crappy models.
July 6, 2009 at 6:46 AM
Sneaky, Z….Even if it’s a tiny SOB, it does look pretty nice.
Sucks about snapping the palm though.
July 6, 2009 at 8:31 AM
it made me wanna laugh the whole day… XD
July 6, 2009 at 9:31 AM
Just a word of caution: those pesky VSBR rails. Watch out. I snapped one of mine clean off and even epoxy couldn’t fix it :(
July 6, 2009 at 11:07 AM
Have you tried…..MIGHTY PUTTY??
Buy Mighty Putty now! It will please Billy Mays soul.
July 6, 2009 at 12:59 PM
Looks nice, bigger then what I expected.
July 7, 2009 at 7:26 AM
No putty could save the broken VSBR rails or any moveable parts..Like my MG SF’s knee frame, the hook is “unhooked”..
July 7, 2009 at 10:23 AM
So true, sbhboi.
Though fortunately, there’s enough of a stub on the rail left over on my kit to slide the rifle barrel forward enough to reveal the trigger mechanism. And the barrel snaps back into place snugly, so unless you’re actually manipulating it, you wouldn’t know it was broken to begin with.
That was the very first model kit disaster to nearly give me a heart attack, though :P
July 7, 2009 at 2:27 PM
@CKai Cydek,
I feel you.
One of my Ex-S’ V-Fans just flew away when I cut it off the sprew, and the face-plate of the Crossbone split in half when I TOUCHED it. :(
July 7, 2009 at 3:02 PM
Do you airbrush your kits?
July 7, 2009 at 9:02 PM
Hmm… I am really gloomy right now. i canceled my blog. But on the brighter side of life I am working on A avalanche Exia right now and I just airbrushed on some future floor polish and will add decals. Oh and Z what pose do you have your Avalanche Exia right now.
July 7, 2009 at 10:25 PM
darn… i was planning to buy some top coat and surfacer… orz…
i only got super clear flat which i bought 2 months ago.. lolz
July 8, 2009 at 8:08 PM
Just to let you all know that I’m still alive. My comp got screwed up yesterday so I won’t be able to blog for awhile… at least not on my own computer anyway. Am hoping to finish the review by Friday and then jump on my next project immediately.
July 8, 2009 at 8:18 PM
Oh who’d have guessed that the such a small guy could actually stand toe-to-toe with the MG Sazabi /sarcasm =D
In all seriousness, the F91 is looking good, and I imagine its in for a bashing judging from that review preview.
Also, I haven’t had a chance to mention it, but my MG Crossbone is finally complete. Have a look at it when you get a chance ^_^
July 8, 2009 at 8:33 PM
@Z,
haha nice, but hey some little guys are scary and with F-91’s face I’m sure a Mg *coughs* I mean HG would pee his skirt xD
Sorry to hear about your computer, Hope everything works out and that computer gets fixed or will make it work >:D :P
July 8, 2009 at 10:43 PM
@Z – Sorry to hear bout ur computer too >_<
i just realize last time i comment… i was in wrong post haha..
*headbangs*
July 9, 2009 at 10:41 AM
Z Im so sorry. I bought MG Strike Freedom to spraypaint but for Unicorn…:( I got the titanium finish!!!!!!!!!! It looks great but i didnt paint the clear pink:( btw do you know any places that sell titanium white paint cuz the place where you cut the pices from that kit has HORRID discoloration:It’s black!!!!
July 10, 2009 at 8:23 AM
Okay, first, looks awesome Z, nice work. Second, that is truly surprising. I wouldn’t think they’d be head to head.
@ignis, the F91 and Crossbone are the same height. They were made by the same company and are about 5 years apart, so they’re roughly the same frame but the crossbone has newer equipment.
July 10, 2009 at 1:50 PM
@aptkane, you’re talking about the F91 and Crossbone movie/manga, right?
July 11, 2009 at 3:51 PM
yeah it’s uber tall o.o
btw get on aim z… something popped up and i think i need ur help lol
July 12, 2009 at 2:07 PM
Squacker, wow… the nub color is actually black? That sucks o_o. Sorry but I actually have no clue that there even exist “titanium white” paint ^^;. Best bet I guess I would be doing is painting the nubs in with gloss white.
Aptkane, did someone actually fell for the photo and description? xD
lilboi, uhh… just got done fixing my comp… gimme some time.
