Huh? When did you get the I.Justice? I guess you got it with the Sword Impulse and didn’t tell anyone you sneaky guy.
Also, my work IP is blocked again.
May 7, 2009 at 2:40 AM
@AceWhatever: Actually, Z did announce his Infinite Justice along when he got his Sinanju.
May 7, 2009 at 2:41 AM
Actually, I got it along with Sinanju :D. And that’s strange, I checked through the Spam and didn’t see any of your post like last time. o-0
May 7, 2009 at 2:53 AM
Must have slipped my mind.
Anyway I’ll try posting from again on Saturday.
May 7, 2009 at 3:26 AM
Wow that’s a lot, you have lots of extra cash huh.. *is envious*
May 7, 2009 at 3:32 AM
Wow, nice backl… Future project list ;)
May 7, 2009 at 4:02 AM
Good luck again Z! Is there anything that i can help for your project? >:D
for rehealsal, maybe u can build the sd o riser next? :D
May 7, 2009 at 6:31 AM
I think that’s great! and you can probably finish the SD’s and the one HG in one day! hehe
I still got two MGs Shin Musha Gundam and Force impulse to be finished, I could probably finish them by the end of the year I guess..O_o But I am so gonna get a PG Strike in the summer. Agh.. being a student is tough…
Good luck to your plan pal, can’t wait to see the new reviews :D
May 7, 2009 at 6:35 AM
Let’s race! =)
I have (as far as I can remember):
HG 00 – 3 Thrones (Eins, Zwei, Drei)
HGUC – Sazabi
HGUC – Psycho Gundam
MGs
- Lukas’s Strike E
- Force Impulse
- Sword Impulse
- Freedom
- Crossbone (Full Cloth)
- Sinanju
MG 2.0s
- RX-78-2 Gundam
- Zaku
- Mk-II (Titans)
PGs
- Strike
- SkyGrasper
But I have an exam coming, so I can only start after mid of June… -_-”
But if it motivates you in anyway… I’ll race ya! ;-)
May 7, 2009 at 6:49 AM
VERY awesome way of clearing out that backlog Z. I really need to start gathering what I want to build this Summer. I’ve finally given up on Sinanju, I think the pose with Gurren’s shades spooked me out of it XD
Anywho, I intend to buy n build the following this Summer:
MG Crossbone X1 Ver.Ka
MG RX-78 Ver. OYW Original Animation Colors
MG Kampfer
MG Zaku II (Char color)
MG Destiny
Now if only I could allocate some more space in my room for them >.>
May 7, 2009 at 7:56 AM
still dont have the money to buy kits. can barely buy a single MG kit but somehow managed to get a hold of unicorn. T_T
May 7, 2009 at 8:02 AM
dear god you must be rich =/ I can only afford 2~3 kits a month
May 7, 2009 at 8:07 AM
they are rich. i only have 2 MG kits. so im with you. i can barely get me a kit in a month. such are the problems of a student. vacation=no money. no money=no gunpla. LOL
May 7, 2009 at 9:47 AM
I’ve done Crossbone Full Cloth version, Infinite Justice and Destiny Extreme Burst. Mind you only sanding and building. Once I get my airbrush sorted out, I’ll take them apart again and paint/detail them. I can highly recommend both Infinite Justice and Destiny. Both were awesome. I wasn’t too happy with Crossbone as it became quite clear how much extra detailing is needed for it to match the look on the box. Also it will be tricky to pose with all the lose bits on it that keep falling off.
Also, you’re doing Force Impulse again?? Your first build looked spot on. I actually bought that kit based on your review. I wouldn’t have looked at it twice if I hadn’t seen your action poses :D
grrr, I also want a Strike Freedom Full Burst, but they’re sold out at Rainbow Ten. I can get them locally, but they’ll be expensive as hell.
May 7, 2009 at 9:52 AM
Awesome, you have the Mustachioed Gundam! Heh.
Good luck with everything.
May 7, 2009 at 11:27 AM
The downside of this is the reduced level of suspense as to what comes next. The upside is I don’t have to keep guessing or asking. And my two cents on a handful of those in your future projects list:
Still a Katoki in there? Well, it’s a nice one, though not a favorite of mine. I remember seeing someone making an “Amuro-styled” Wing Gundam ver. Ka, but some alterations were made, like using a Crossbone Gundam torso, replacing the shoulder machine cannons with something else, and splitting up the wings (I wonder how it’d fly rather than having the fuel spill all over, but unless it’s Okawara’s WG wings, I prefer the wings whole, but that’s me).
I saw the Turn A Gundam before in a picture, and would like to see how it’s built and your thoughts. I actually watched some of Turn A Gundam (around a fifth or so of it), and it’s quite different. The upcoming one I’m most surprised of is the MG RX-178 Gundam Mk. II, given your displeasure of its design in your review of the GFF version. I liked the full-armor too, by the way. And what do you think of Okawara, well, “Okawara-izing” and ground-basing the design for 08th MS Team? I bet F91 will be your smallest (F91’s 15.2 meters tall in MSG F91, and Crossbone 15.9 meters), and Strike Freedom doesn’t look too Okawara-ish in the artwork, but maybe it’s the shining gold that’s distracting away from it. Why Shining Gundam instead of God Gundam? Would’ve been interesting to see a comparison between an MG God Gundam and the GFF version, but maybe that’s asking for too much. Maybe Shining will be good. *shrug* I saw once on the Wikipedia entry for Gundam vs. Gundam NEXT that it’s an upcoming unit, but that’s unconfirmed. Unicorn, EZ8, and another Qubeley Mk. II are… Too bad I can’t try out that arcade game beyond watching YT videos of it.
May 7, 2009 at 12:11 PM
Mkuain, I’m quite poor… it’s just that those models have been sitting on my shelf since EARLY 2007
Pim, thanks… should last me till the end of the year xD
Eyeshield, I’ll save those for when I need to take a break ^^;
Hypnos, I think everyone knows that I can never finish a model, no matter how small, in one day even if my life depends on it ^^;
Alex, you’ll win the race for sure xD.I’ll compete with you on who does a better “home look” on each model though :D
Zro, speaking of space… I’m absolutely out of space already. all my recent models are sitting around my desktop -_-;
Ercjohn and saito, I’m just a college student. Scrap a penny here and there and soon you’ll find enough for a MG ^^;
Mesmer, all this continuous negative talk about the crossbone is making me want to go to certain extremity to fix it up. Wouldn’t paying the shipping would make it about the same as buying it from the store?
Gunthetra, thanks ^^
Siroh, the order is only tentative so things can swap around :). If I remember right, I think the turn A is hollow?(but the MG has a frame). I forgot why I picked up the Mk II…it was back in 2007 xD. I have the Shining because I already have the Hyper Mod God Gundam. Japan keeps all the cool arcades to themselves… or no one in the US wants to import one ^^;
May 7, 2009 at 4:06 PM
Okay, no prob! it’s because i want to see the comparison with SD Destiny :D
Oh yeah, in anime, inside Turn A body is nanomachine unit. And u can even place cows in it :D Seeing Dalong, I think the MG has great articulation, despite the design. And Mk-II too, it has decent articulation with cool design IMO. I have the Titans one. Remember the first photo contest? I submitted the mk-ii photo. XD
May 7, 2009 at 4:18 PM
Thankfully, I have an aunt that buys me gunpla and will ship it to me!
=D
and an empty glass-protected bookshelf. I told my dad I wouldn’t have much use for it and would prolly fill up only 1 of the boxed shelves, but now I haz gunpla!
psh, I take so long. I take extreme care to remove nub marks.
May 7, 2009 at 8:37 PM
@Z
Yeah you’d think getting them locally would be cheaper, but it’s not really. Plus when ordering overseas I can get extra little things like markers and decals etc. I think in this case though I’ll break down and get it locally. I really want that Full Burst mode version :)
Good luck on your Crossbone, I’m really interested in what you can make of it.
May 7, 2009 at 8:49 PM
Hi-Nu! I love that kit, though it seems a lot of people like to complain about the proportions on it. The only thing that I don’t like about the kit really is that the funnel racks can’t swing up and down.
May 7, 2009 at 11:53 PM
eyeshield, yea.. i mainly bought Turn A for the MG cow ^^;
acedude, i wis i have such a nice aunt @.@
mesmer, guess you pay more for the convenience ^^;
lupes,proportions? I think its proportions look great! The one and only thing I can hate about it even before it was released is that the MG is NOT the original Hi-Nu Gundam design.
May 8, 2009 at 12:01 AM
good line up the one i want to see is the astray red frame just to see it pose with that sword cause how badass the high grade was that one is gonna be awsome
May 8, 2009 at 4:59 AM
Oh man, I hope you get to MG Crossbone Full Cloth soon. Been thinking of getting that one for a while now.
May 8, 2009 at 12:44 PM
Hey Z. Remember when you said that you’re afraid the HG Nu HWS would look a bit plain compared to the GFF version? Well, you’re right. I tried to spruce it up with stickers left over from my MG’s but it didn’t improve much because I’d need a Ver. Ka amount of stickers to make up for the lack of panel lines to detail. There’re just too many plain white surfaces on this thing.
Just a heads up. Maybe you can think of something to make your HG Nu look better.
May 8, 2009 at 2:35 PM
Z, yeah I remember finally seeing the original design not that long ago. I was introduced to the Hi-Nu via SRW/THe MG model so to me the original design looks weird as hell. Pumped about the Gundam Mk II as well, I’ve got one that I’ll be trying to paint up with my own colors and scheme. :D
May 9, 2009 at 2:01 AM
Hey guys, quick question… If Zaku’s are the stormtroopers of the original Gundam Universe, what mobile suit would you consider to be Darth Vader? I’m assuming one of Char’s suit, but he’s got many different ones right?
I was thinking of doing like a couple of Zaku kits and then making 1 really sweet “Darth Vader” to accompany them, but I’m trying to figure out which one it should be.
May 9, 2009 at 2:20 AM
Your best bet would be the Gelgoog since it’s the only one of Char’s suits IIRC that actually has a
light saberbeam naginata. 2nd possibility would be the unofficial Char Rick Dom.May 9, 2009 at 4:07 AM
hehe, maybe you’re taking the Darth Vader reference a bit to literally :). He doesn’t have to have a Light Saber, but I would like him to have that badass Commander look, compared to the Zaku’s stormtrooper look :). I’ll have a look at the Gelgoog though. I’m not that familiar with the UC mobile suits. I just actually started watching the original series and I’m starting to really dig the Zaku’s, so I wanted something cool looking to accompany them :).
May 9, 2009 at 6:19 AM
Well as far as other One Year War suits go the Gouf would work well too since it’s basically a high-performance Zaku II.
May 9, 2009 at 10:52 AM
a new Gouf is coming out soon right? I’ll keep that one in mind. I was also considering a Sazabi or maybe even Sinanju, but I’m not sure those would make sense teaming up with Zakus. Like I said, I’m not that well versed in the original series :)
May 10, 2009 at 10:25 AM
Acewhatever, wow…the large smooth white surfaces is really turning me off… but the kit’s design itself looks better than I expected though ^^. It is still sleek.
Lupes, if you’ve seeen the Hi-Nu via SRW then that’s actually the original design, not the MG design o_0
Mesmer, yea…gelgoogs go really nice with Zaku’s. Especially Char’s.
May 11, 2009 at 10:53 PM
I just finish my SD Exia a week ago. Finish yours and i want to compare mine and yours.( obviously you’ll be better) So i can know where to improve.
May 12, 2009 at 12:11 AM
hate to disappoint you but I put little to no effort for my SD models. I build them as a break from the norm (MG) ^^;
May 12, 2009 at 11:57 PM
Hmm. Your kits boxes are in great condition. Where do you buy your MG models?
May 13, 2009 at 7:52 AM
ei z. glad you’re also a student like us. LOL. anyway, what’s your age? i mean we can both be in college level but i think our countries have different “college” levels. i mean here in our country people go to college at around 15 or 16 years of age. how about in your country? is there a difference? i dont know what im talking about. LOL. i guess we differ on the way we handle our money. i guess i spend too much on other things that im having a hard time saving up for MG kits. anyway thanks for your reviews. now im somehow able to save up money to buy gunpla to see their awesomeness myself. ok. that’s a long story. very long with a lot of nonsense. sorry about that. >.<
May 13, 2009 at 4:58 PM
Boshi, I get them just about everywhere I can find for cheap. HLJ, ebay, rainbowten, etc etc.
Ercjohn, I’m not even old enough to buy alcohol in the US yet xD. College usually start at 18 here. Not much of a difference. Good luck with the beginning of your new hobby!
May 13, 2009 at 8:32 PM
Same here, we enter into college when we are 18. Thats the minumum age of entering a college due to we must take spm.
May 14, 2009 at 12:01 AM
haha. thanks for the encouragement z. im still starting out and have around 20+ kits at the moment. im gonna try fixing them like keita does to his kits. im trying to make my non-MG kits look magnificent. (im afraid of ruining my MG kits) LOL
May 14, 2009 at 2:11 AM
A lot of plamo is waiting for you to build. Can’t wait for you review of MG Hi-Nu and Turn A.
I don’t have such a list since I only just ordered my first plamo in this year. It’s VF-25F MESSIAH VALKYRIE ALTO CUSTOM, some time ago started watching Macross Frontier and mecha design from this series is awesome^^.
May 14, 2009 at 2:28 AM
Z, i have a question. Which gives the best color appearance? The gundam marker or tamiya’s paint? And for the erasing work, what do you reconmend? The tamiya’s caramel thinner or the gundam marker eraser?
May 14, 2009 at 8:47 AM
haha. kkte good thing for you those stuff are readily available in your place. i suggest you use tamiya paint over gundam markers on open spaces. gundam markers on open spaces look bad IMO. >.<
May 14, 2009 at 11:33 AM
Paliodor, I need to get around watching Macross Frontier ^^
Kkte, real paint is always better and I never tried the caramel thinner before. I stick with rubbing alcohol.
Ercjohn, yea gundam markers do suck a lot on large surfaces.
May 14, 2009 at 6:45 PM
Yea agree on that. The paint flow is not consistant. For an open surface, I had to repaint it at least 3 times to ensure that all the paint would be equally distributed. Although it is not good for open surfaces, it is perfect for small pieces(IMO)! ^^ . I am thinking on buying the caramel thinner, but it is more expensive than alchohol. Furthermore, the paint we use are not caramel right? If so, i think there is no point on buying the caramel thinner.
May 14, 2009 at 6:51 PM
Ercjohn-Hahaha, if i am not mistaken, these stuff are already available when i was in primary, which was 10 years ago?XD. The first gundam that i saw was my cousin’s( he is much older than me). It was a HG wing gundam zero custom. I watched him painted it. I was so envy of him. RIght now i can paint my own gundam XD. Talk about satisfaction. hahaha! But as far i noticed, these things are getting cheaper here. Last time one gundam marker cost around 25 Ringgit( Malaysia currency. 1USD=3.6 ringgit now). Now i can buy it for 12riggit. Lucky huh?
May 14, 2009 at 9:41 PM
ya. you’re so lucky. haha. LOL. here in our place you are considered rich if you have a gundam marker or two. LOL. gundam markers here in our place are quite expensive so i had to find other alternatives (tech pens and such) and for paints we dont use tamiya paints. they’re so expensive yet industrial spray paints here in our place seem to be quite similar to tamiya. so we dont buy tamiya stuff. hmmmmmmmmm. the average industrial spray paint here in our place costs around 1/4 that of tamiya paints. but you can hardly notice the difference. haha. LOL
May 15, 2009 at 6:09 AM
Ercjohn- Oh come on, you have 20 over kits, which obviously tells us you are rich XD.
May 15, 2009 at 8:12 AM
nope. more than half of those kits are merely HG kits. LOL. >.<
May 15, 2009 at 7:19 PM
In my place, the price os 3 HG kits = 1 MG kit
May 16, 2009 at 12:20 AM
3 HG is 1 MG? Either the HGs are very cheap or the MGs are very expensive o_o. Now, 1.5-2 HG makes a pretty decent MG ^^;
May 16, 2009 at 2:45 AM
Dont get me wrong Z, is 1/144 HG VS MG ^^. Z, recently i bought a gundam dynames trans am mode. It comes with gloss red. I am wondering should i draw the panel lines? I am hesitating right now because until now, i havent see a review which they draw panel lines on their trans am model kits. What is you opinion?
May 19, 2009 at 7:57 AM
ei kkte i suggest you leave the trans-am pips as they are. no panel lines. but i do suggest spraying a coat of tamiya clear red to get that anime-ish feel to it. just a suggestion. and im not used to straight building coz im not good at removing nub marks that’s why i paint my kits. >.<
May 19, 2009 at 7:59 AM
ei z. lets see. the currency here in our country is in pesos. 1 hg kit would cost around 800 pesos. a decent MG kit would cost around 2300 pesos. so that’s roughly equal to 3 HG = 1 MG. right?
and btw 1 peso = 2 yen
May 20, 2009 at 10:51 AM
Are you guys mexican? I thought Z used to live in NYC? Phew! I just finnished my double X! The panel lines was…hellish.I never come across these amount of panel lines before. I was quite satistfied about the model, although the articulations are a bit limited. Z, my double X are no back heavy as you said in your model. Am i lucky or is it time factor?
May 20, 2009 at 3:55 PM
kkte, leave the panel lines off… unless you’re doing red panel lines, it’s gonna look funky. your DX will probably get backheavy over time and wear… I just accelerated that problem because I abuse the joints for the photos.
Ercjohn, hmm… guess that’s about right then ^^;
May 20, 2009 at 6:08 PM
Okay, then i have to be carefull not to abuse the joints XD. Now the DX is finished, i looking for an MG to play with…..still havent decide yet…kampfer or crossbone…
May 20, 2009 at 6:18 PM
Beside those two, guys do you reconmend EZ8 from the o8th ms ?
May 20, 2009 at 10:01 PM
haha. kkte how bout you get crossbone ver ka. dont get the full cloth one. it’s poorly engineered. parts do pop off from that one. then get kaempfer together with crossbone ver ka. i think its not gonna be a wallet killer if those two were bought together. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. when it comes to ez8, nah. i dont think ez8 looks good at all. i mean. i find it awkward when i first saw it. so i looked at it again. and it’s still awkward to look at. haha.
another thing, how bout you buy a crossbone ver ka and mod it into x-3 with the big bad sword. i dont think its that hard to pull off. >.<
May 20, 2009 at 10:33 PM
EZ8 needs a v-fin.
May 20, 2009 at 10:34 PM
ya. you’re right z. so that’s why ez8 looks odd. >.<
May 20, 2009 at 11:29 PM
Ez 8 is not gundam right? other then the crossbone, Any other suggestion? cause this is going to be my first Mg….very afraid on getting the lousy ones…cause every successful journey begins with a perfect first step…please guys. help me out. Price limit is not over 45 usd…
May 20, 2009 at 11:44 PM
hmmmmmmmm. how about wing ver ka? it was my 1st mg kit. and it was good. i wasnt ready for MG’s back then but i managed to make it look good – z type of good minus a few clear stickers that i screwed up. haha. LOL. or begin with the granddaddy. rx-78 ver ka or ver 2.0 will do. those are good kits. others. hmmmm. let’s see. there’s f91. or gp03s or gp01fb. those two are lookers. haha. there’s a lot. but i would suggest wing ver ka. it’s just about your budget plus you’ll experience the fun of building a ver ka kit. >.<
May 20, 2009 at 11:47 PM
and i forgot. the zeta plus variations are good kits too. not the real zeta. the other zetas. buy them. they look cool. especially the zeta plus c whatever. haha. i forgot the name. the grey one. it looks cool. >.<
May 20, 2009 at 11:48 PM
oh yeah. and the classic mk 2 ver 2.0 are well under your budget too. >.<
May 21, 2009 at 3:38 AM
Wow, quite lively here :D
kkte, may i suggest? Wing zero is great i think, it’s about 3800yen. It’s super cool wings never cease to amaze me. XD
And plus part is, it comes with a base.
May 21, 2009 at 11:41 AM
kkte, Strike Noir, WZC, God Gundam (best price), Freedom, heck… http://fudoushin.wordpress.com/2009/05/02/top-easiest-master-grades/ or you can shell out a little more for Sinanju.
May 21, 2009 at 9:10 PM
Thanks for the suggestion guys! As for the wing ver ka, is the articulation good?
May 21, 2009 at 11:30 PM
quite good kkte. just the average i think. the 1/100 exia is better. but get the wing ver ka. you can just put it in a standing pose with its wings a lil drawn towards the back and it will look extremely good. >.<
May 21, 2009 at 11:48 PM
Hmmm… Z, where are your two GFF MC Zpluses?
May 22, 2009 at 1:14 AM
Ercjohn, wing ver ka or WZC do you reconmmend?
May 22, 2009 at 1:22 AM
pluto, (thought I answered this elsewhere…) I didn’t order them ^^; canceled last moment. Everyone told me that was a good move so I didn’t reconsider getting it.
kkte, I personally like the Ver. ka more… but that’s because I put more effort into that one…
May 22, 2009 at 3:19 AM
Yea i know…You even honor the wing ka with top coat…Lucky guy.
May 22, 2009 at 4:31 AM
ya kkte. go for wing ver ka. but im gonna get WZC and get waterslide decals for wing ver ka and use them for WZC. im sure it will look very good. and after a while you’ll find it necessary to topcoat all of your kits, based on my experience. >.<
May 22, 2009 at 5:46 AM
kkte, WZC Has magnificent wings and a stand, ver ka. Has “gundam” colors, can transform (though it’s not too good), and has Katoki name on it (you know, bunch of decals). So, up to u ^^
though i’m prefer WZC for its stand sake ^^;
May 22, 2009 at 7:51 AM
haha. somehow im not that fond of gundam that have their own stands. i just hate my 1/100 exia. the legs are already sagging after i put it on a stand. too bad for me. maybe its just an isolated case but im traumatized with stands anyway. T^T
May 22, 2009 at 8:16 AM
ercjohn, yeah agree too, i’m only using base to kit that cannot pose well at ground plus kit with large backpack like zeta, freedom, wzc,etc. So, a base for either wing zero or ka. Is a need i think :D
May 22, 2009 at 8:45 AM
hmmmmmmmm. i think WZC needs a base. my wing ver ka doesnt need one. it isnt back heavy as it looks like. hehe. >.<
May 22, 2009 at 8:47 AM
but im working on modding the parts that connect the legs to the body so that they dont sag even after a long time. i just dont have the luxury of time yet. but i will share them to you once i figure out how to prevent the sagging of the legs. or if you already know, you can share them to me so that i’ll know and repair my exia. >.<
May 22, 2009 at 11:18 AM
stuff bits of tissue paper into the joints.
May 23, 2009 at 4:27 AM
haha. thanks z. i just used superglue on the joint and kept on moving the joint while the superglue is still wet. then suddenly the glue dries up and the joint is as stiff as ever. >.<
May 23, 2009 at 7:40 AM
Guys…I was about to get the Wing zero custom…..But i failed…..This is what happened…I was going out with my girl friend yesterday…After some walk, i though ” what the heck, i am already in the shop, why dont i get the WZC now?” So i told my girl that i want to go to the hobby shop, she agreed reluctantly( Casue she is not a hoppy player). After we went there, she had a shock(cause that is a big hobby shop).We went in together…..When i was about to take the WZC…..I hesitated whether to get the wing ver KA or WZC…This is the worst mistake….. When i was hesitating, my girl friend looked around…and feel in love with the GN Archer…. So she wanted to buy.( it is her 1st time buying such thing)UNFORTUNATELY she did not bring enough money with her….and so i am the one who’ll be paying….god damn…. In the end, i was short of money… So i was thinking”never mind, i’ll save for another week”. NOw here’s the most **** part. The shop keeper talked crap that Gundam Arios and the GN archer are a pair of lovers…..and heck….my girl was decieved….she ask me to buy the arios too…..So, i think i’ll have to save few months time to buy the MG….**cked up. Sorry for the inconviniece guys…Sorry that i asked so much, and in the end i still ending up buying HGs….T.T
May 23, 2009 at 8:15 AM
Kkte, hey the MG wont go anywhere so take your time!
I think that not ****ing. ^^; its rather romantic! You are lucky to have understanding gf. Girl who allow gunpla is rare here. Lol.
And one month is just fast, for me a MG=half a year or even a year. No kiddin. :D
May 23, 2009 at 8:21 AM
haha. that’s unlucky for you kkte. good thing there are a lot of MG’s in stock there in your place. here in our place we’re lucky enough to have 5 different kinds of MG’s every month. so i just save up for money and buy whatever is on stock. so unfortunate. LOL. and what a tragic love story. lesson learned: never bring a gurl when buying gunpla. >.<
May 23, 2009 at 4:07 PM
Y-You have THREE Perfect Grades?! =O
I want one!!! >.<
Never got a PG model b4…I would buy one but I dont have enough money…
T-T
May 23, 2009 at 11:29 PM
haha. we have the same problem. all we can do right now is save save save. >.<
May 23, 2009 at 11:59 PM
Lelouch, more like two. Skygrasper shouldn’t count. I wonder if there really would be someone who just buy the Skygrasper without ever buying the Strike Gundam >_>
Ercjohn, saving and penny pinching is good. I remember when I was smaller, I was able to buy a 1/144 Sandrock with spare changes (coins) that I scrap all over the place.
May 24, 2009 at 2:26 AM
Z.. where do you get your models? at a local hobbyshop?
May 24, 2009 at 3:38 AM
haha. ya z. i agree. now im saving up for more kits. i just got HG garazzo and 1/100 green frame. i bought it coz of the cutting mat inside it. >.<
May 24, 2009 at 3:38 AM
haha. ya z. i agree. now im saving up for more kits. i just got HG garazzo and 1/100 green frame. i bought it coz of the cutting mat inside it. >.<
May 24, 2009 at 3:40 AM
Thanks for the symphaty guys^^. It tooks her two days to assemble her HG, and i am beside her help me detailing( cause i dont want her to screw up the model) haha! Romantic you say? Maybe XD.
Eyeshield: Yea, at 1st she hates it when i buy gunpla.
Z: Can you please reconmend any cheap MG?
May 24, 2009 at 4:34 AM
how cheap kkte? how much is your budget?
May 25, 2009 at 12:23 AM
Below 35 USD.
May 25, 2009 at 12:28 AM
what??? 35 USD??? hmmmmm. i think you better save more kkte so that you can have a variety of choices. im not sure if you can buy any cool looking kits with that budget. at least here in our country you wont. but you can always save for 10 USD more and you’ll have better choices. >.<
May 25, 2009 at 3:20 AM
Yea i know….But the thing is i dont live in the states, i live in malaysia….1USD=3.5 Ringgit. So its hard. Save 10 dolars mean save up RM35. Think i’ll just go for the EZ8 XD
May 25, 2009 at 3:48 AM
no. dont go for something that doesnt deserve to be your 1st mg kit. here in our country 1 USD = around 48 pesos. so its kinda hard to save 10 USD too. but just be patient and you’ll see that you have saved enough already. >.<
May 25, 2009 at 4:00 AM
Whoa chill bro, is EZ8 that bad? Okay! I’ll listen to you. I hope i’ll be able to afford a MG kit soon..
May 25, 2009 at 4:18 AM
i dont know. i just dont like ez8. its not that good. just go for something else. i think kaempfer would be a better choice. im also saving up for another MG kit. specifically im saving for WZC. i think it will take another month or so but its fine with me. im not in a rush or anything. im cold man. im cold. i just disagree on buying ez8. its just not worth it. XD
May 25, 2009 at 6:22 AM
Haha! What bout Gp03s and the ground type gundam(the gundam before EZ8)? they are having the same price here.
May 25, 2009 at 8:37 AM
take gp03s. that one’s really good to look at. just dont pose it. it looks better just standing up. >.<
May 25, 2009 at 9:05 AM
what do you mean by “DONT POSE IT”?
May 25, 2009 at 9:21 AM
just let it stand and dont do poses with it. that’s what i meant. XD
May 25, 2009 at 11:59 AM
kkte, the MG God or Shining Gundam is well within your budget and they are very poseable.
May 25, 2009 at 5:41 PM
Z! You make my day! Thanks a lot!
May 25, 2009 at 7:28 PM
so which one is it kkte? >.<
May 25, 2009 at 11:13 PM
Now i have 3 choices, shining, god, ground type gundam. The reason why the ground type is considered is because it has a V fin XD, and it has alot of accessories too.
May 25, 2009 at 11:23 PM
go for god. XD
May 25, 2009 at 11:26 PM
Unless you REALLY like the Shining, skip it and go straight for Burning (God).
May 25, 2009 at 11:32 PM
The thing i like about shining is its head, it looks way better than the god’s head.
May 25, 2009 at 11:34 PM
god looks better overall IMO. XD
May 25, 2009 at 11:35 PM
Ercjohn, help me out, can you tell me what is the difference between god and shining? considered the appearance and accesories.
May 25, 2009 at 11:50 PM
hmmmmmmmmm. shining looks like its from the f90 series of gundams. the design is a lil too plain. no fancy backpack. and its shorter then god gundam. it comes with 4? sets of hands (im not sure) and 2 pink beam sabers.
for the god, its a lil taller than shining. the color distribution is better than that of the shining. it also comes with 4? sets of hands and has 2 green beam sabers. what makes the god look better than the shining is that its core fighter is fancier than that of shining. it looks good with its core fighter wings spread.
both kits can pose very well. if you have any other concerns just visit dalong.net so that you can see for yourself the differences between the two. hope that helps. XD
May 26, 2009 at 12:06 AM
Well, the god really looks better overall. But still undecided…..cause i am stuck with shining’s head. the head looks awsome. as for the god, the overall looking is way better. the green saber is a plus point too. hmmmm. maybe i should get the god 1st, and the get shining afterwards XD.
May 26, 2009 at 12:27 AM
you have 35 USD to spend right? Just save another 10 USD and you can possibly get both the God and Shining at the same time. Both models cost around the mid 20’s.
May 26, 2009 at 3:59 AM
ya. kkte i agree with z too. get both if you’re undecided. coz i’ll get both and build them keita style. XD
May 26, 2009 at 9:25 PM
yeah, just save some more, kkte.
it’s only matter of time :D
May 26, 2009 at 10:33 PM
okay^^. Guess it’ll take some time. By the way ercjohn, what is keita style?
May 27, 2009 at 1:54 AM
hmmmmm. keita is a gunpla modeler. and an expert one at that. just search his works in google. or use the link in z’s article on keita’s red frame. XD
June 6, 2009 at 10:39 AM
among all the projects, we shall look forward to ur PG Astray first… mmm…
June 6, 2009 at 7:30 PM
I prefer the MG Hi V. Cause i loved it the most.(cause i cant afford any pg XD)
June 6, 2009 at 7:37 PM
I have a question. Why would anyone prefer to buy a nandroid, which is a cartoon girl figure rather than a MG? Cause recently my friend bought a mikkumiku kagami which has the same price as MG wing zero custom=.=, i was shocked!
June 6, 2009 at 8:00 PM
because they’re cute. they stand out among gunpla when placed alongside them. that’s why i buy SD’s every now and then coz they are cute when placed beside 1/100 kits. XD
June 7, 2009 at 2:09 AM
But ercjohn, 1 nandoroid= 8 Sd gundams…..
June 7, 2009 at 7:01 AM
yes i know. but that doesnt change the fact that they’re cute. XD
June 7, 2009 at 9:05 AM
Just a piece of advice on your Crossbone Gundam. I’m on the assumption that, like with your other Katoki Gunpla, it’ll have a lot of decals. If you’re fretting over the “Caution” decals popping up every other time as badly as a GFF and might want to just throw everything aside and get the coming-soon Robot Damashii Crossbone X-1, just remember this… For every “Caution” decal there is on a Katoki model, there’s ten of them on the real deal being built. I’m not kidding! It seems to me that’s the case. Have a look on it so far:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/kumadigital/3597746754/
Trust me: after looking at that picture of Gundam (still being worked on), you don’t have it that bad. :)
June 7, 2009 at 11:55 AM
@kkte: Even though I collect mainly Gunpla, I would love to get Kagamiku Nendoroid if it were to appear at my local shop. To me, it’s the cutest Nendoroid I’ve ever seen yet, even exceeding the original Hatsune Miku. In comparison, Hatsune Miku looks better in Figma form, but in Nendoroid, Kagamiku takes the crown. XD
June 20, 2009 at 8:38 PM
Cant wait for you to complete all the PGs!
June 21, 2009 at 4:52 PM
Cant Wait For PG Aile Strike And PG Astray =. I Want to get a Perfect Grade But Im unsure of which one to buy. Either Of the two, but idk
June 21, 2009 at 5:49 PM
Just got the SD Nu Gundam and did a custom paintjob. Now I’ve fell in love with the Nu and I wanna see the HG and the MG Hi-Nu. Plz review the Hi-Nu!!!!! I wanna see what its like b4 I decide wheather or not to get it at Aniem Expo.
June 21, 2009 at 7:00 PM
Hey Squacker, I think Astray would be a nice choice. He’s quite stylo to me… And the Katana make it look even better. But if u r a fan of Strike, that would be okay. the mechanical characteristic of Strike is awesome. Its just that it look kinda plain without the Aile striker pack…
June 21, 2009 at 9:40 PM
oh how I would love to clone myself so one of me can just stay home and work on models all day…
June 22, 2009 at 4:54 AM
Ask someone to impersonate you then… (^_^) Z, would you mind to answer my question on your astray GF page, if you have idea what it is…
June 27, 2009 at 7:58 PM
Z, I was wondering what you would build after the F91. Turn A? Whether you do that next or later on, I’d still like to see your two cents on it as–aside from the Ver. Kas outside of the Crossbone and Gundam Unicorn stories–I’m thinking of getting the Turn A. And/or maybe waiting for the Robot Damashii version that’s coming out in a few months.
June 27, 2009 at 8:53 PM
Hmm… I don’t see any reason why I’d hold back the MG Turn A (don’t have anything planned for it), so guess I could make that the next project ^^
June 28, 2009 at 9:33 PM
Don’t have anything planned for Turn A, huh? I have an idea.
I recall reading in a past Dengeki Hobby issue where they give Turn A a watercolor look. It’s done by using a rough sponge on the parts with paints lighter than the actual parts. After a few layers, the whole model looks very nice.
June 29, 2009 at 2:37 AM
After all the ideal(exam just finish),i finally get my hands on the mg god gundam! Bwahahahahah! One question, i find it akward, the god gundam comes with 2 V fins….one is plastic and one is rubber. What does this mean?
June 29, 2009 at 2:39 AM
After all the ordeal(exam just finished), i finally got my hands on the mg god gundam! Bwahahaha! One question, I find it strange that the god gundam actually comes with 2 v fins. One is made from plastic and another is made from rubber. What am i going to do with these?
June 29, 2009 at 7:56 AM
@kkte
rubber is for kits that are frequently handled while the plastic one is for kits that are left alone for long periods of time. the plastic one tends to break easily because it’s structure is very brittle… the rubber on the other hand is a compound of plastic and rubber and was made to address the problem of easily broken vfins…hence the rubber composite…
so i suggest you use the rubber composite since it lasts longer than the plastic one… but if you are careful you wont break the plastic vfin… XD
June 29, 2009 at 8:46 PM
So why dont they just give the rubber instead?
June 29, 2009 at 10:11 PM
because some people like me actually prefer the solid V-fin instead :)
June 30, 2009 at 4:19 AM
ya kkte. i also prefer solid vfins for kits that were meant to be static… XD
June 30, 2009 at 7:03 AM
OH! I see. I encounter another problem when i want to build the inner frame….The pistons they showed on the box art are chromed….but actually it isn’t. Can anyone help me with this?
July 1, 2009 at 4:20 PM
where did u get that destiny extreme burst mode kit ive been looking that and cant find it any where……(except ebay for like $100)….>.<
July 1, 2009 at 10:55 PM
kkte, umm…. just paint it chrome then? o_0
blackcat, got it when it first came out… forgot where though.
July 2, 2009 at 2:48 AM
Z, does bandai has the chorme gundam marker? If yes what is its code? If no are there any alternatives?
July 2, 2009 at 4:18 AM
@kkte: I’m not sure if your local stationery has it but you can always check around town for normal chrome/silver markers. Gundam markers aren’t that reliable besides being expensive.
I didn’t find them at first, but slowly I found more and more markers, ranging from medium thick to 0.8mm. The brands are like Pentel (the best), Zig, and Pilot Super Colour (which gold colour is magnificent but don’t buy the White Silver, it’s totally worthless on Gunpla plastic.)
July 2, 2009 at 4:29 AM
i use chrome spray paint…. XD
July 2, 2009 at 9:09 AM
Chris, i had tried that kind of alternatives too( cause i cant afford too much gundam markers). I bought some color markers from other companies, well…the color was good but the thing is, after applying it, you still can see a little bit of the color of the plastic. It does not 100% covers the surface of the plastic. So i went back to gundam markers T.T. If i cant find any chrome markers, then i think i’ll have to paint it white thenT.T
July 3, 2009 at 3:51 PM
GM100 is chrome silver, kkte. It’s a bit runny tbh.
July 3, 2009 at 4:21 PM
I have a Gundam Marker labelled “Mekki Silver”, but there’s no mekki OR silver coming out! Just some runny transparent liquid which I suspect is alcohol. I bought another, only to encounter the same problem. I’m starting to think these pens are either expired or jinxed.
Anybody else have the same problem?
July 4, 2009 at 7:51 PM
Ckai cydek
Yeah, i encountered this problem too. Last time i bought a white colour gundam marker. At 1st only white liquid came out.But this can be solve, what you need to do is shake the marker for a few seconds, then press the tip until the head is fully into the marker, hold the position for a minute.
July 5, 2009 at 3:56 AM
Kkte, I’ve tried that three times, even holding the pen’s nub down for 2 minutes, and it’s no good – only alcohol comes out. I’m beginning to wonder if there’s any silver at all in this thing. I’m not throwing it away yet, but this sure is discouraging.
I may have to settle for Tamiya metallic silver for now. I still haven’t tried the Bosny spray chrome I bought yet, though.
July 6, 2009 at 1:44 AM
Ckai Cydek
You are one unlucky guy.
July 6, 2009 at 1:47 AM
Ckai, the marker must’ve been sitting at the store for who knows how long… and stored improperly at that. Shake it… for a good ten minutes. Vigorously. You might get something out of it after that. I had that happened to some of the markers that I never needed.
July 7, 2009 at 11:23 PM
Finally finshed my god gundam! I was shocked when i found out that i had to use my creativity to apply the decals=.=.
July 8, 2009 at 4:25 AM
haha. congratulations kkte!!!!! XD
July 8, 2009 at 6:29 AM
Hehe! I bought a mg wing zero custom today!
July 8, 2009 at 7:15 AM
that’s nice kkte… im still saving so that i can buy MG exia and WZC at the same time…and that will be around my birthday…. my birthday gifts for myself… XD
July 9, 2009 at 2:04 AM
Ercjohn
A birthday for youself=.=? Sounds kinda sad….
Guys! Today i was roaming in my local hobby store. I feel like a donkey when i saw the hg exia repair II. It has everything that the hg exia has and more accessories with the same price…The worst is i bought my exia about 3 weeks ago=.=
July 9, 2009 at 4:01 AM
yeah.. Bandai using same runner as HG Exia… they only add R2 Runners in HG Exia R2, i guess to save budget XD, and u get same price as HG Exia :P, Ive bought HG Exia like.. week after it released, I’m going to kit bash my old HG Exia and get HG Exia R2 along with HG 0 Gundam :P
also.. now we never going to get top coat and surfacer? minus the local store that still had the stock… i bet it will be sold fast >_<;;;
oh.. btw Z, did u paint using handbrush, if u do, do you paint all whole gunpla or just some parts as according to manual image/anime (eg. HG 0 Gundam V-fin) ??
July 9, 2009 at 5:19 AM
@kkte
its not a birthday for myself… its my gift to myself for my birthday…aside from what my mom will give me… i always have my family to spend my birthday with… XD
July 9, 2009 at 7:15 PM
Ercjohn,
Ask for your mom for a red frame PG XD
July 10, 2009 at 1:09 AM
*Sigh*
Z, I already tried shaking the damn thing…for over 30 minutes, probably. I turned on some Caribbean mambo for a good long while and used the pen as a maracas the whole time – aaaaaaaaaand…
…got nothing but alcohol, YET AGAIN.
Doesn’t matter, anyway. There’s more than one way to paint my kits in silver. That’s $3 I’ll never see again, though :(
July 10, 2009 at 3:47 AM
@kkte
haha… that’s nice…buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut… she cant afford it… that’s why im asking for an sd kit for my birthday… i’ll use my savings to buy MG kits for myself… XD
July 10, 2009 at 6:57 AM
Oi, oi, kkte, ercjohn, Ckai Cydek, this is not a chat forum, you know. XD ^^;;
July 10, 2009 at 7:52 AM
>.<…..I think Z is not that stingy right XD
July 11, 2009 at 7:16 AM
@chris
im sure we can do away with this while z’s computer is still out… *evil grin* XD
July 12, 2009 at 2:51 AM
You guys can chat here to your heart’s content xD. I don’t mind at all. If you were only allowed to talk to me then…well, there would be tumbleweeds rolling in the silence by now.
@Siroh32, hope you don’t mind if Turn A’s review will have to wait a bit ^^;.
July 12, 2009 at 7:36 AM
Yesterday was my birthday, and i had a surprise gift from my girlfriend and brother. They gave me a 1/100 red frame…….I was happy but i have a dilemma. Which should i build first? My mg WZC is still not complete.hmmm….XD
July 12, 2009 at 1:46 PM
Kkte, Happy belated birthday! Finish the WZC then if you have already started on it ^^. The Red Frame is a fun little kit to put together.
July 13, 2009 at 5:43 AM
yehey!!!! today is my birthday!!! too bad im so sick right now… i can barely go to school…. anyways i made up my mind and will be getting mg strike noir and hguc hi nu later this week… damn you z…. i want able to buy mg strike noir till i read your review about it… XD
July 13, 2009 at 6:59 AM
Whoa erchojn! How come! You change your mind!!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT! The WZC is a good kit!
Z.
I think you’re right. The size of the box and the amount of runners are quite deceiving! It makes you think that it has a lot of parts XD
July 13, 2009 at 8:37 AM
I noticed your blurb about Gunpla becoming a chore, Z. I have a few suggestions:
Change your mind about the Crossbone and pick one of the easier (or easiest) MGs remaining. If none remaining are, then build your remaining HGUC; maybe it’ll be simpler to build than an MG. Or just go SD on us…
If you have any figures (like that chibi Hatsune Miku or something else you haven’t discussed yet), just review it. If there’s one you want and there’s no problem in any way getting it (whether it be in how to order or if you’re thinking about other concerns), why not?
How about watching some mecha anime rather than building models of mecha from mecha anime? Maybe there’s a couple you haven’t watched or finished yet, or maybe you can watch one all over again. I could also suggest something similar for any games you have… By the way, on that note, got Mario Kart DS yet?
July 13, 2009 at 10:06 PM
ErcJohn, happy birthday! You made an awesome choice… Strike Noir is a GREAT kit! You’ll have fun with it. I built it right before I built the WZC… and found myself a bit disappointed with the WZC after playing with the Strike Noir. Don’t worry about it… ^^
Siroh, thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately… with school around the corner and many other things coming my way sooner than I’d notice, I want to get as many kits away as possible because I see myself hitting something like 1 review per month during winter. Can’t stop now! Oh and I do have Mario Kart… just forgot I have it since I threw it in the corner and haven’t even opened it yet… xD.
July 13, 2009 at 11:48 PM
Well, I guess I could understand, but again, you mentioned it that it’s starting to feel like a chore again. If you’re going to continue Gunpla, why not set aside the Sinanju Spirit-Breakers and F91/F97 1/144 want-to-bes and pick up something else? Doesn’t necessarily have to be what I suggested (Turn A), but in any case, you’ll still be doing Gunpla…
Maybe you can just enjoy some Mario Kart in-between Gunpla-building. Unlock some stuff in the Grand Prix mode (I still have yet to unlock everything and I’ve had it since Christmas 2007, though I keep setting it aside and I’m sure people can get it done much faster).
July 14, 2009 at 2:11 AM
Just tried out mario kart… fun little game ^^; Only have enough guts to do the easy stuff though xD. I’ll let you know when I’m used to playing then I’ll challenge you.
July 14, 2009 at 4:33 AM
thanks z!!!!
kkte i know i wont regret buying strike noir than WZC….. strike noir just looks so “pointy” compared to WZC… XD
July 15, 2009 at 12:50 AM
Ercjohn,
The thing that i like about WZC is the wings. Well, everyone has their own options ^^. Personally i don’t really like the strike noir cause(no offense) the anime is a little bit ridiculous….
July 15, 2009 at 5:35 AM
kkte that’s the reason why i dont wanna watch the “paris hilton” proportions of the strike noir… XD
July 16, 2009 at 7:23 AM
huhu… strike noir was taken by another guy and now there’s no more strike noir in stock……. how traumatizing… T______T
July 16, 2009 at 8:30 AM
Oh my….chill bro, there is always tomorrow. My local hobby store takes 3 days to restock, i dont know about yours but it will be in stock in less than one week. So be PATIENT…
Guys another problem……I was deciding which one to pick up. The HG trans am oo raiser or the HG destiny?
July 16, 2009 at 12:00 PM
ercjohn, ouch.. that sucks. Don’t worry. Popular kits like Strike Noir probably gets restock faster than some other kits ^^;
Kkte, HG Trans Am Raiser and MG Destiny ^^
July 17, 2009 at 2:57 AM
Z
That’s the problem…I cant get both cause i killed my wallet when i bought my MG god and MG WZC T.T
July 17, 2009 at 4:00 AM
@kkte
just get the trans am pinky…… its fancier than destiny… XD
or wait for the PG 00…… its coming around the corner already… XD
July 17, 2009 at 10:25 AM
@ercjohn
where do you get your gunpla? can you recommend me a good shop yet that has lower prices (in ph)
July 17, 2009 at 10:17 PM
@starch
how did you know im from ph???? O.o
July 18, 2009 at 10:35 AM
you dont have any more Ver.Ka models? =(
Would like to see the Ver.Ka Crossbone…or maybe the Ball…
July 19, 2009 at 5:04 AM
@lelouch
the x-1 ver ka looks just like the full cloth minus the full cloth… XD
July 19, 2009 at 8:24 AM
@ercjohn
good guess perhaps :D i think you mentioned it, (i think its the dollar conversion and the peso that gave me the clue)i am frequent here but rarely posts myself so i am a ghostly dude silently admiring z’s work >:D
July 19, 2009 at 8:29 AM
@starch
that’s good. you just started gunpla? or do you have an array already???? i just get my gunpla from toy kingdom or tamiya coz im from cebu…..how about trying wasabitoys???? my other friends also use rainbowten…..both are cheap…. XD
July 20, 2009 at 2:55 AM
uhmmm how do i say this? just re-started out my interest in gunpla so far i only have strike noir which i ordered from wasabi,
July 20, 2009 at 4:34 AM
@starch
that’s good…… wasabi is a great choice… XD
July 20, 2009 at 7:57 AM
Looks like i am the only one who does not like strike noir….
July 21, 2009 at 2:19 AM
I rewatched the G series. Until now, i am still confused about master asia =.=
July 21, 2009 at 4:58 AM
master asia rocks!!!!! “are you ready to be the king of hearts???” XD
July 21, 2009 at 7:16 AM
His role is very vague!!! I cant tell whether he is the antagonist or the protagonist!
July 21, 2009 at 11:49 AM
Master Asia do kick ass.. he’s like Lord Genome’s ancestor… xD
July 21, 2009 at 10:19 PM
How i wish there is a MG dragon gundam XD
July 21, 2009 at 10:22 PM
How i wish ther is a MG dragon gundam…The hg sucks hell XD
July 21, 2009 at 10:26 PM
Yeah, a relaunch of the MG GGundam line with an improved Fighting Frame (hopefully based on the RX-78-2 Ver.2.0), featuring the rest of the Shuffle Doumei. That’d be AWESOME.
*SIGH* MG Nobel…
July 22, 2009 at 12:16 AM
I am still waiting for my MG Devil Colony…
July 22, 2009 at 3:32 AM
im waiting for MG ercjohn…. XD
July 22, 2009 at 6:17 AM
Z….that is most probably impossible……The devil colony is so huge..even more huge than a gp03-D. A mg=1/100… I cant even imagine how big it will be=.=
July 23, 2009 at 4:59 AM
I made a video on my MG god, take a look if you guys have some time^^http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sO4CxceSCk
July 23, 2009 at 6:12 AM
Just just now i was roaming at a shop near my hostel, i found that besides bandai, there is another company named TT Hongli which also make gundam models=.=lll. I heard that shopkeeper said that it is a knockoff. Which means it is a FAKE? It cost way cheaper than bandai’s. The MG wing zero custom cost only 15 USD. Does anyone bought a knockoff before? What does it looks like? Is the quality as same as bandai’s?
July 23, 2009 at 8:54 AM
Wow, Z; you went from skeptic to big believer in a short while. Are you going to rush Crossbone to start up your soon-to-be-newly-arrived MG and use the rest of your topcoat all over it and proclaim it to be the best ever MG? :P I hadn’t even started on the anime yet (beyond watching the first episode not long after it aired). But at least you aren’t going to treat this upcoming one like a chore. :)
By the way, what are you doing that (according to the blurbs) makes you indecisive as to what Gundam you should use? Maybe you can have some help here on deciding which… *shrug*
July 23, 2009 at 10:25 AM
Kkte…those kits are a real bargain…unless you like frustration as part of the package. ^^;
WHen I was too young to know any better, I bought a Chinese knockoff of a 1/100 Nu Gundam once (NOT even an MG knockoff), and instantly regretted it. It was molded in dirty light blue, BLACK and RED – not exactly the Nu’s color scheme. And as I found out the hard way, it was made of inferior plastic and the parts didn’t exactly snap together. It’s a bad sign if you kit falls apart as you’re putting it together. It came with dumb stickers for decals, and of course, it couldn’t hold any of it’s optional weapons, nor could it’s Funnels stay in place.
Some pro modellers may say kits like those are a challenge, to work out, fix and paint, but I say if the foundation is weak, so is the overall kit. If a kit is difficult because it’s BROKEN, then I have to pass on that. :P
I have an original 1/144 Bandai GP02 (not HGUC), that’s molded in BLACK and RED. None of which are the unit’s colors! What’s up with that?! @_@
July 24, 2009 at 2:50 AM
kkte, do they happen to be made by “BEN DI”?
siroh, I’m still a skeptic. I’m actually looking forward to nitpicking the thing. I’m in no rush though since everyone probably saw hobbybase’s WIP and stuff. I was referring to which Gundam to use for the “Gundam Giveaway” ^^;
Ckai, wow… the GP02 sounds pretty terrible even for Bandai standards back then o_0. Might as well give it to you completely in white.
July 24, 2009 at 3:38 AM
Z, they are made by TT Hong Li
July 24, 2009 at 4:09 AM
o0o… didn’t realize I didn’t see that name in your first comment. Must’ve read over it ^^;. Never heard of them before though. I’ve seen “BEN DI” Before though. I wouldn’t trust anything bootleg although some use it for spare parts to kitbash since they are fairly cheap… but those are also the people who can miraculously make anything look awesome.
July 24, 2009 at 4:42 AM
that’s the reason why bootlegs suck…… but i do use bootlegs for most of my kitbashes……. you can save a lot with them…. XD
July 24, 2009 at 6:24 PM
when r u gonna do th destiny EBM O_o cuz thats the next model i may buy but i wanna see a review of it before i actually buy it…
July 25, 2009 at 10:04 AM
Ey, it be my first time here since I just got my F91 harrison martin version MG. Not a bad price (2500 pesos). Nice kits Z, I really wanted the Destiny Extreme Burst mode but it wasnt available in the local mall and my father wont let me use his Credit card for ebay >:D
College student saving up for my next MG woohoo what to get next @_@
July 28, 2009 at 3:19 AM
oo can’t wait to see you do Red Astray! I got one too but i haven’t started it…i’m saving it for a rainy day…..a REALLY …LONG…rainy day..lol
July 28, 2009 at 8:36 PM
Z, The MG Exia is launched! When is your review going to be ? XD!!
July 29, 2009 at 12:05 AM
I’ll start on it immediately after Crossbone.
July 29, 2009 at 8:54 AM
@XIII
you bought the harison at that price??!!
i think that’s too expensive….. there’s one for sale here for just 2000 pesos…. XD
July 31, 2009 at 4:37 PM
Z, So you mean you already got the EXIA? Great!
Guys, I have another dilemma now. Should i get the gundam strike sword and launcher package or the MG Exia ignition? They are of the same price.
August 1, 2009 at 1:21 PM
KKTE: I think the Exia Ignition looks better, the proportion of the MG Strike seems a bit odd, the head is way too big..
I need to finish with my Rx-78-2 2.0 Mechanical Clear ver first in order to start with my Exia.. busy days..
August 3, 2009 at 4:57 AM
Guys, Gundam G generation Wars is coming in 6th of august! The variety of gundam is just awesome!
August 3, 2009 at 11:13 AM
Kkte, I really really don’t like the Strike model… so get Exia >_>
August 4, 2009 at 5:43 PM
As master Z said so! Bye strike XD
August 5, 2009 at 1:26 AM
hey men when are you going to assemble the destiny extreme burst mode men i really want to see the destiny master grade i’m waiting men.^_^
August 20, 2009 at 9:30 PM
I heard that bandai is going to release a MG guntank?! Any idea guys?
August 20, 2009 at 9:37 PM
yes they are. Loads of pics are up already. Check out http://ngeekhiong.blogspot.com/ and go back on his posts… you should see quite a few.
August 21, 2009 at 3:28 AM
More MG kits coming: MG Astray Blue Frame 2ndL
MG Stray Mirage Frame
Z, i’m sure you’ll gonna consider it as lover of Gundam with swords…
I want both… Gonna go bankrupt…T_T
August 21, 2009 at 3:28 AM
Typing Error
*Astray Mirage Frame
August 21, 2009 at 8:49 AM
I am still waitting for mg dynames >.<
August 21, 2009 at 11:46 AM
The mirage frame is a 1/100 release. Only the blue frame second revise is the MG Astray.
August 21, 2009 at 3:29 PM
Yea I’ve just checked up on Ngee Khiong earlier on it ^^… not really sure if I want it though…
August 26, 2009 at 2:49 AM
when will you build your strike freedom full burst mode??
August 29, 2009 at 12:18 PM
If you aren’t going to build that Hi-nu or Destiny Full
Burst…Might as well sell it to, I don’t know, me?
: D
I kidd, I kidd. Can’t wait for the review for both of them.
September 5, 2009 at 1:41 AM
which mg will you build next??
September 5, 2009 at 2:00 AM
…………………………..
September 5, 2009 at 2:01 AM
?
September 5, 2009 at 8:48 PM
Where are the PG’s? Y’know, if you _reallllllly_ don’t want to build them, you can always send them my way. :)
September 6, 2009 at 3:40 AM
Wow.. Last 2 kits from the Universal Century XD
September 7, 2009 at 1:35 AM
dChan, I do… just no time ^^;
Arein, which 2?
September 7, 2009 at 1:36 AM
scrolling down up/down this page is almost a pain… haha
September 7, 2009 at 4:21 AM
That would be Nu and Hi-Nu XD
September 7, 2009 at 8:42 PM
It’s been awhile since I’ve checked this blog. Hahha Nice to see you’ve completed your Exia Z, but feel your pain due to it’s disability(Does Bandai offer anything for Gunpla disability? Hahha) Wow, I’ve been trying a lot of your techniques and they are helping me with my builds nicely.
I’ve gotten and completed MG God Gundam and I finished putting together my MG Hi-Nu 2 days ago.(Box is freakin’ huge!!) I’m pleased with these, they make me feel good about my building skills.
I’m deciding on what to get next(yet again, hahha). So juss waiting on some of your reviews. Though the Gundam 2.0 does catch my interest…
September 11, 2009 at 4:01 AM
ARGGGGG!!!!!!!! Havent decide which should i get! Blah! I really want to get one…but there is just too many choices >.<! Help anyone!!!
Primary target: gundam strike Striker pack
MG exia IM
Sword impulse
Strike noir
Freedom
Unicorn
Help guys……
September 11, 2009 at 4:02 AM
PS: I can only manage to afford right now…..(Girlfriend birthday nearby)T.T
September 11, 2009 at 6:41 AM
Narrow it down to one of these MG’s:
Sword Impulse (big ass swords)
Strike Noir (lots of guns)
Freedom (cool wings and cannons everywhere)
September 11, 2009 at 6:53 AM
Thanks for your opinion acewhatever! Any other suggestion guys?
September 11, 2009 at 8:09 PM
Sword Impulse or Freedom(Regular Freedom or Strike?)
Freedom looks badass, SF is even better with those sexy Dragoons… ~~c:
Sword Impulse, as AceWhatever said, has really big swords. I don’t have either but they look freakin’ awesome.
September 11, 2009 at 8:14 PM
Sword Impulse- Can’t mess with big wieldable swords and sexy looks
Strike Noir- like the Sword Impulse…but with Guns.
Unicorn- a gorgeous kit if you put in the ver. ka stuff.
September 11, 2009 at 9:56 PM
You guys really me helped me alot!
Narrow it down
Sword impulse,strike freedom and unicorn……still deciding XD
September 12, 2009 at 2:03 PM
Sword Impulse or Unicorn since you’re on a budget… Cause with Strike Freedom I’d say go with the FBM, looks awesome-er, but that’s a bit of change there.
Me thinks Unicorn, that Psycho Frame thing looks great. Now you’re making me wanna buy a Unicorn… Hahha
September 12, 2009 at 3:36 PM
Go with the Unicorn, it’s insanely sexy, only if you can put up with the decals.
And I heard SF has some problems with the kits :/
September 12, 2009 at 7:48 PM
So you guys recommend unicorn over the sword impulse?
September 12, 2009 at 8:49 PM
@KKTE depends you want a kit that just stand there and look cool or a highly poseable kit. I want both…^^ As for unicorn i saved a lot of work on painting and panel line (The ain’t much even if you want to), except you want to do what Z did by repainting all the pink clear parts red. I’m only annoyed by the apply-the-decal and topcoat work. I usually don’t coat my kits unless i use decals extensively.
September 12, 2009 at 9:09 PM
Unicorn still puts me in awe, Sword Impulse(I’ll call it SI) can be tuned down for another time, IMO. Maybe it’s juss my dislike for the SEED series that makes me not suggest SI… I do like the Red Frame though… c:
September 13, 2009 at 1:44 AM
And i do have the1/100 red frameXD!
September 13, 2009 at 6:09 AM
@KKTE, i’d say if you want a more poseable and with cooler weapon, go with the sword impulse, but if you want a really nice looking model, go with the unicorn..^^ but with freedom or sword impulse, go with sword impulse..:D the mobile suit looks better and it has a cooler weapon..^^
September 13, 2009 at 6:11 AM
Z, can you do the infinite justice or hi-nu next?:D
September 13, 2009 at 7:01 AM
Hahha I’ve been putting off the 1/100 Red Frame for the longest, maybe because it’s not a HG but a NG? I’m sorta peeved that the Blue Frame got the MG treatment instead too. ;.;
Hmm.. KKTE, maybe you can wait a bit for the Blue Frame, looks like a very promising kit. Hahhah or if you really can’t wait, get that trophy piece, Unicorn.
September 13, 2009 at 11:11 PM
rusinstein, those two will have to wait a bit longer. sorry ^^;
Ahya, the 1/100 Red Frame is almost a MG for the time that it was released… AND it is one of the cheapest 1/100 kits ever. The MG Blue Frame has a lot more to offer than its 1/100 counterpart but… it still can’t swing its buster sword! (though I don’t think I can really expect that…)
September 14, 2009 at 8:07 PM
Yeah, nothing but good reviews for the Red Frame, possibly me most favorite MS, it being red and… uh it has a MS sized katana.. ~~c: What not to love about the Red Frame?
Hopefully the Blue Frame will get to swap out from the 2nd L into juss the regular Frame or that other form it has(not the aquatic one, the speedy one with the knives.) I agree, it’ll never lift the huge sword anywhere, wouldn’t be surprised if Bandai also included like a mini stand juss so the sword would stayed posed with the model.
September 15, 2009 at 12:30 AM
Although I’m kind-of crossing my fingers for the White Doll (a certain MG that was intervened), given that it’s entirely up to you, Z, I’d like to ask, what’s next?
September 15, 2009 at 1:19 AM
Ahya, being able to swap into the regular Blue Frame might be asking too much of Bandai given 2L’s design difference… but it would mean a sign that we’ll finally have a real Red Frame MG soon! I just might consider the 2nd L if it comes with a mini stand.
Siroh, keep your fingers crossed ^^
September 15, 2009 at 1:39 AM
Now you finished your exia, and sneek peek for whats next?
September 15, 2009 at 8:47 AM
This is such a freakinshly late reply, you’re discussions are already beyond me haha
lucky guys can buy gundams with their own cash, u shud’ve picked the noir, looks pretty badass IMO
also, My HG wing zero custom is kinda weird, the white mtal parts are shiny, i saw one displayed on the internet and it was just plain white plastic @_@
September 15, 2009 at 7:34 PM
@XIII You sir have the special metallic coating one. It’s pretty much the same with a higher price tag.
Well we could always hope. I wanna believe Bandai will at least give us something nice. The mini stand would be great, if they added one for a Core Fighter for Gundam 2.0 why not for the 2nd L.
OK maybe it’s juss wishful thinking. :I
September 16, 2009 at 5:27 AM
D: omg it’s a special edition?! the coating is already dull, its been like, 9 years ago…shudve taken better care of it.
True that, is Bandai the type of company that listens to its consumers and raging gundam fanboys? lmao
I really wanted the MG seed series but sadly it isnt available here
September 16, 2009 at 3:41 PM
Ehh… but what major corporation actually listens anyway? Capcom is almost exactly the same.
IMHO, I think the MG line should be all UC MS, but then again, can’t have everything right? Tired of pretty wings and fancy ultra weaponry. Hahha no offense to other Century fans…
Gimme some good gunpla Bandai!! Nu Gundam 2.0 please. c:
September 22, 2009 at 9:21 PM
ack, I’ve recently gotten obseesed with the Seed models, especially the Strike. (Note that its Seed and not Seed Destiny)
So yea, wanna build ur PG Strike soon…?
Can you try to do a review of it at least before Chrismas? Sorry if I’m askin too much, I know the PG models require a lot and you’re really busy but I just thought I’d put my thoughts in. ^^lll
September 23, 2009 at 8:17 AM
Saw the MG guntank the other day…Well i was quite impressed by the structure of the kit! Bandai really put alot of effort in it! Even the cannons have internal structures…But….Would anyone here spend 50 usd just to buy a guntank?
September 25, 2009 at 12:28 AM
Lelouch, I’ll see how my time goes… that’s as much as I could say ^^;
kkte, I’m still under the impression Exia is what it is because the development funds went to Guntank >_>. I was never fond of the guntank so… I wouldn’t pay even 30 for it xD.
September 25, 2009 at 5:38 AM
I even heard that the monitor screen inside the cockpit lights up….Why bandai? Why guntank and not others?!
September 25, 2009 at 10:23 PM
hey i was just wondering, if you weren’t going to build your master grades destiny, strike freedom, hi nu, or infinite justice, i could perhaps buy them from u lol? Just asking, i really love gundam and want to buy some master grades perhaps a little cheap than hlj or other gundam stores that are like, in japan or wtv.
September 26, 2009 at 2:10 AM
i’ll build them… eventually :D
September 26, 2009 at 11:47 PM
Do you guys ever played a digimon tamagotchi before? I saw somebody selling them on the internet for ridiculous prices. Luckily the shop near my house still sells them…Just bought two of them(one for my bro and one for me)…Haha…It really brings back memories.
September 26, 2009 at 11:54 PM
Never heard of them before actually… ^^;
September 27, 2009 at 5:27 AM
Dont tell me you dont know what a digimon is?!
September 29, 2009 at 12:18 AM
Bought a rx-78-2 char aznable custom….finished it…not very statisfy…..They only part which is mg like is only the legs. Cause only the legs have inner frames(spectacular inner frames though)….Other than the legs, there is no more inner frames….
September 29, 2009 at 2:22 AM
@kkte
lol i was a digimon fan till I was around 15 before i switched to Gundam although i did buy gunpla since i was 10. I have the Digimon 03 card-swapping one… Still keeping it and still funtional, already almost 7 years!!
RX-78-2? I have been searching for the OYR version, but the Ver Ka is so common at my place and online… 10 units available! DOn’t know should i get one just to practice my skills on Dry Decals…
September 29, 2009 at 6:27 AM
Then you should get one of the gundam strike. They come with a numbers of dry decals.
September 29, 2009 at 8:10 AM
I completed MG Strike Rouge and haven’t posted the review yet. I did some customization in terms of warning stickers and decals (i added quite a few). I will show the pics when i post the review in my blog… Can’t help it, i actually spoiled a couple of decals…
September 29, 2009 at 7:17 PM
Dry Decal practice?
Look no further than the notorious Sinanju. Over 150+ dry decals to apply. Some goes over bumps and curves no less.
*evil grin*
September 29, 2009 at 8:56 PM
@T
“thanks” for the recommendation, because i planned to buy water decals for Sinanju instead, if i can apply over 150+ decals without screwing even one, I am already ready to win in gunpla competitions. XD The Wing Ver Ka is already like some sort of “wth??!!” with such huge decals over the curved shield!!! I’d certainly don’t want to go through what Z go though with his Wing Ver Ka… *grinning at Z* lolx
October 5, 2009 at 7:40 PM
Guys, about the strike freedom, which one is worth the money? The normal version or the full burst mode? I am having a dilemma on which one to buy.
October 5, 2009 at 8:34 PM
@KKTE
I had the same dilemma when I bought my MG Destiny, choosing between EBM and non-EMB. I ended up going with the non-EMB because although I liked the wing of light, they were not worth the extra 30% in price. I liked the silver skeleton but I also figured that I could reproduce the effect.
If I were more cavalier about the way I spent my money, I may have gotten the EBM but I just didn’t think that FOR ME it was worth it. It’s a question of personal value. If you want to spend the extra $25 for shiny gold pieces and some pieces of clear plastic then go for it.
I personally would not, but that might be because I’m a poor college student ^^
October 6, 2009 at 4:32 AM
Same here…so i got the normal version instead of the full burst XD
October 9, 2009 at 9:25 AM
Where’s Wing Gundam Zero Custom PG Pearl Coating looking forward for that REVIEW, the Best PG, http://www.1999.co.jp it has the highest points, anyway im looking forward for your Hi-v Gundam thats my 2nd FAVORITE gundam. ^^
October 15, 2009 at 9:39 PM
Which should I get, PG 00 Gundam, PG Strike + Skygrasper, or PG Zeta? The 00 is kinda on the bottom, so I guess its between the Zeta and Strike. I’ve been learning a bit about Zeta for a while and it sure looks good…so which should it be, the simple Strike or the Zeta?! xDD
October 15, 2009 at 10:48 PM
Heero Yuy, that PG never crossed my mind unfortunately xD. Wayyy too many screws and complaints about loose parts to tickle my fancy. Not to mention I really hate that pearl look >_>
Lelouch, Strike+SG. The Zeta still have inherent flaws thanks to its transformation gimmick. Not to mention you don’t even get the Hyper Mega Launcher… which is the biggest turn off for me.
October 16, 2009 at 8:29 PM
im back coz it’s sembreak at last. get the strike lelouch……….
October 16, 2009 at 11:13 PM
welcome back ^^. One week of break for you?
October 17, 2009 at 2:53 AM
i got 3 weeks of break!!!! not enough for me to do a kit though…….. T_T
October 22, 2009 at 11:34 PM
humm, thinking of getting myself a PG Strike for sword shenanigans with Red Frame…might be cheaper to get the Strike Rouge and just paint it though.
October 23, 2009 at 12:22 AM
But a lot more work though ^^;
October 23, 2009 at 12:50 AM
@ercjohn
3 weeks not enough for a kit? Wow… I can build at least 4 MG in 3 weeks… ^^;
October 23, 2009 at 7:16 AM
@Z: Well, I was planning on painting it the same no matter which kit I got, it’s just a matter of what can save me money now. :)
October 23, 2009 at 8:52 AM
Time doesn’t matter as long as the end product looks decent. :)
October 24, 2009 at 12:02 AM
Guys…. i was amazed when i saw this video! It an arcade machine equip with gundam joy sticks. so you are like really piloting a ms. check it out, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWnNtUCngXw&feature=rec-HM-fresh+div
October 24, 2009 at 12:18 AM
@KKTE
Ta, i’ve seen that before in Dengeki magazine’s ads. M’sia no such thing… T_T
Getting licence for Gundam pilot… XD
October 24, 2009 at 9:46 PM
Nice. I would like to take that for a spin. lol. I’d totally fail in the first 5 min ^^; I dont think they have those in canada though…
October 24, 2009 at 11:06 PM
-EXkurogane
you live in m’sia?
October 25, 2009 at 12:17 AM
Ya, Penang… Which is sad though, gunplas here are over priced, up to the extent i can call it daylight robbery. I order gunplas online now… T_T
October 25, 2009 at 9:36 AM
What?! I live in penang too! Live in jelutong now! I get most of my models from queensbay and one stop… there are over priced? I think they are only 20 more expensive than the one listed in http://www.1999.jp….
October 25, 2009 at 9:37 AM
YEAH!!!! LIVERPOOL SMASH MU!!!!
October 25, 2009 at 9:49 AM
Hmmmm, hey Z, you like the toyota ft-86? Its the successor of the AE86….heard this news months ago. The only ddonside of this car is they uses boxer engine…which is…ahem…
October 25, 2009 at 8:32 PM
@KKTE
I’m from the mainland, bkt Mertajam. Queensbay, arrgh… i had a bad impression of the gunpla there, MG Strike Freedom FBM they sell RM320 last time (after discount)! Hah! I bought it for RM 257 only… Until the day i’m dead i’ll remember the price tag before iscount- RM400!!
Yeah, get gunpla from one stop, it’s cheaper there.
October 25, 2009 at 9:03 PM
0.o? rm400? now they sell it for rm 300XD~, i only buy those cheaper mg from them, cause they always over charge the expensive mg’s (4500 yen above). Others are okay though.
October 25, 2009 at 10:17 PM
RM 300 is ok for the price in a mall… Because of rental charges they need to cope with… I still remember the days back where 2500yen gunpla can cost RM150, 7000yen gunpla cost Rm400 and so on (around 4 years back)… Is the tax on gunpla being reduced i’m not sure. ^^; Gurney had 00 Raiser set at RM220 which is really worth it to me.
October 26, 2009 at 12:37 AM
Well, the 00 raiser set at the robo master is 180 nowXD! I am waitting for the chirsmas promotion to get the unicorn gundam for 180! patience kkte!
November 1, 2009 at 4:43 AM
After i watched seed destiny….I really HATE shin from the bottom of my heart!!! XD
November 4, 2009 at 4:40 AM
@KKTE
IS shin really that bad???
November 5, 2009 at 5:30 PM
so? which is next?
November 5, 2009 at 5:32 PM
can you just please do the strike freedom already!!!!!!
November 5, 2009 at 5:33 PM
yeah i would love to see you review the strike freedom…..
November 5, 2009 at 5:36 PM
hhmmm…… iwould like to agree on the strike freedom it’s kinda ummmmm……. good as some say…….. the mg version that is……..
November 5, 2009 at 5:39 PM
so the topic hre is the strike freedom full burst mode i presume? well it can be preety nice to see a review on your blog z….
November 5, 2009 at 5:42 PM
i just bought the strike freedom fbm and i would love to see your review for it before i start to build it.
November 5, 2009 at 5:45 PM
so z would you agree on these guys?
November 5, 2009 at 8:52 PM
“These guys”? Aren’t they all the same person? :P
November 5, 2009 at 9:09 PM
Well, I was going to mention after reading all of them that you note the wonderful timestamps and consistent grammar. :) I’m assuming you don’t mean Strike Freedom when you mentioned the “R-2″ of Gundams, right? I’m trying to think “fat” and all I can come up with is “short” (the SD models). :P
November 6, 2009 at 12:00 AM
the same guy doing all the talk. patience………. z is not yet feeling the SF right now…..am i right z? XD
November 6, 2009 at 1:08 AM
he’s so persistent.
November 6, 2009 at 4:44 AM
Hahha good go my friend, but we can’t force a choice onto Z. But maybe influence him? Hahhah
Besides It’ll be building the Freedom Gundam(again, given a few new thing.) Not to mention the Dragoons, bleh. I’d recommend the Hi-Nu. It’s that awesome dude.
November 6, 2009 at 1:55 PM
I would recommend Infinite Justice or Destiny for your next project.
November 6, 2009 at 5:41 PM
how about the hi nu? it would be good for a change
November 6, 2009 at 7:52 PM
@ercjohn- Agreed, let’s see some Universal Century goodness. Hahha c=
Oh yeah got my own Blogspot if you guys wanna drop by and show some love for a brother. (No homo >.<)
November 7, 2009 at 5:42 AM
I just finished my SF. Man it is a real kit man! Love it!
-H.Bryan
I just hate his cocky personality >.<
November 7, 2009 at 7:54 AM
@ahya
ya more UC goodness would be good……… i really miss UC though i havent seen any of anime or read materials with regards to it…… i just heard it from other gunpla masters that UC was way too good compared to the ones coming out nowadays……hopefully that trend will change when unicorn comes out……. XD

Yeah, the other Century’s MS seems to out of realism. A really skinny frame with a giant flight pack or cannons seem to overpowered. And shooting Hadoukens, which is kinda cool though(ahem…Strike Freedom, Infinite Justice..) Hahha juss saying(SEED fans no disrespect, so don’t start yelling at me.) The UC line juss feels more realistic. And besides, Gundams are supposed to be UNIQUE and rare. Not over created and used by everyone… Ok I’ll stop there.
I vote Hi-Nu. c: woot

Hey when are you going to work on that God Gundam and Destiny Gundam =)
Also I’m planning on getting some GFF models
are they any good?
I just put my gundam up for display
I don’t really paint my gundams and stuff so yet.
November 7, 2009 at 7:23 PM
@SimonH- Hahha Z has done the God Gundam already. Check out the Master Grade section on the site. The one in this section is actually the Shining Gundam. As for the GFF check out the Fix Figurations section. Hope this helps dude.

w00t! Just realize how small this page has gotten (minus the comments)! Well, from the looks of it… it wouldn’t be long till I get to the ones some of you suggested xD. With the amount left, I’d say I have…. oh another year worth of Gunpla (at one per month) given that no other models interfere xD.
Guess I’ll just spit out the next two things I’m working on now…
1/144 Seravee GNHWDHGLKJDJFD/B
MG Acguy… har har it’s UC right? xD
Then I’ll go back to the order of the images on this page.
Simon, check out my GFF page to see if they are any good and like Ahya said… the above is the Shining Gundam (I was wondering where you see “God Gundam”…), and yes… I’ve built the God Gundam already.

@Z
“how small the page have been”???
Come on, you haven’t built your MG Destiny and Strike Freedom… XDXDXD I usually don’t have more than 2 kits in my backlog… ^^;
November 8, 2009 at 2:58 AM
@Z: Eh? So I was right then? You said my answer is close… XD
I answered Seravee on the Turn A review and said AcGuy on the ‘Turn A Turn’ page. ^^
November 8, 2009 at 5:56 AM
Wuh?! You have the MG Acguy? Is there like a special section for it, don’t see it on this page.
November 8, 2009 at 7:15 AM
I was surprised by the answer. I just forgot about you getting those Gunpla a while ago, Z! I figured you’d update the list for any new additions or–as you did recently–subtracting what you’re making or completed, and relied on this list for my guess. How short-sighted of me. And I wear glasses, too! :P
Ahya: The Seravee is a page or two back, and the AcGuy…

November 8, 2009 at 11:41 AM
@Ahya: Na, there’s no special section for it (besides his post). This page is kinda outdated. This is like, his original backlog. Z hasen’t really added the models that he has bought latey, like his Sword Impulse and his Crossbones. And there’s still the Force Impulse up there that he already completed. So yeah.
November 8, 2009 at 8:22 PM
Allen, I started the Sword Impulse the week I got it so there was no need to add it. The Crossbone was originally here then it was removed after building it. And that’s my second Force Impulse you’re looking at :P.
November 8, 2009 at 9:05 PM
opps ^^; you have TWO force impulses. wow. that is something. ya. safer to rely on information from someone whos been here since it started than someone who just found out this existed 4 months or so ago… ^^; my bad…

I’ll have a rest from gunpla until next year XD!
Trying to get an airsoft gun….but it is most likely impossible to get in my local area…signh….
November 11, 2009 at 6:49 PM
@KKTE
I have 3, including a shotgun. Bought it in a sundry shop back then, and some of my gunplas broke because of that. I fired shotgun pellets on my gunpla as shooting practice… XDXDXD Now i only do that on bootlegs…
November 11, 2009 at 10:22 PM
Exkurogane, can you give me your msn address? So i can ask you some question regarding on these guns. Cause i dont want to flood Z’s column with our conversation XD!
November 11, 2009 at 11:05 PM
Hey, I wanna learn about airsoft guns too xD
November 12, 2009 at 1:09 AM
Hey Z, I though Airsoft is legal is most of the states in the US? So you could propably get an airsoft and try it out….Unlike me….we have to pay overpriced guns and spent hell of a time to get one….
November 12, 2009 at 6:46 AM
