This is Bandai’s 100th MG and rightfully so. I called it way before it was first announced and I probably wouldn’t have accepted any other Gundam to have this designation. Turn A was the last series directed by none other than Yoshiyuki Tomino and the titular Gundam itself designed by Syd Mead. Many people couldn’t put up with its design, especially the “mustache” but I’ve taken a liking to the Gundam after my initial “WTF” moments. My first counter with this Gundam was not from its anime but from Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden… like how I met most of the Gundam series xD. Anyway, I pre-ordered this model on the spot yet took me a couple of years to finally get around to building it ^^;
Out of the Box
Only about 10 runners of parts not including the V-Tusk and beam sabers. The decals seem to be there just for the sake of it as they look like they aren’t meant to be applied. The foil stickers here are unique as the backing is actually silver like the front. The nub marks on the V-tusk are hidden inside ^^.
The Works
This Gundam model is EASY. Very simple and very straight to the point. There are no abundance of parts to put together just for the sake of having a lot of parts. I’d say this model was designed to be efficient while still packing in the articulation and all the MG goodness. I must say… this model was actually enjoyable to build and probably took the least amount of time compared to other MGs.
Body Unit
Easy assembly. Nothing fancy but still unique to a Gundam. Hollow body is similar to that of MG Exia’s for its GN Drive… only you store nukes and cows in this case. The center chest piece (the one that looks like a cross) also comes in white but I prefer the blue instead.
Head Unit
I LOVE how Bandai designed Turn A’s head. Instead of the usual foil sticker, you have the gray “mask” piece that covers the eye piece then the foil sticker backing (which is silver/reflective) behind to make it shine. This is almost like PG stuff minus the LED ^^. Why don’t they continue this tradition? Oh yea, and the V-tusk is sleek and sexy…
Arm Units
Very efficient engineering on the arms. It doesn’t have many parts to it at all but it still allows for vast amount of articulation and motion. And for the first time ever (and probably only time), individual fingers PLUS another set of open palm! I spent more time working out the panel lines than cutting/cleaning/assembling the unit. Nub marks are well hidden :D.
Shoulder Units
Simple looking shoulders… but actually kinda fancy inside. Rotating flaps on the back. Cool?
Waist Unit
More efficient engineering here. Straight to the point. No extra fancy moveable ball-and-socket or other gimmicks. The core fighter just plugs right into the peg.
Feet Unit
Not much to say here really. Kinda self-explanatory ^^;
Leg Unit
Still continuing with the efficient design, the legs also doesn’t have that many parts compared to other MGs but it does have its fair share of fancy sliding parts and connections (the thrusters). The magic of its sexy legs is accredited to its articulated shins o_O
Weapons
More panel lines than you would really want on a beam saber handle…
The shield looks really nice and smooth. Nothing more to it. I kinda like how the handle can slide up and down.
The weirdest beam rifle ever. There are two ways Turn A can hold it- 1. like a regular beam rifle 2. something like a launcher.
The same Gundam Hammer that is also found in the RX-78-2 OYW and 2.0 ^^. 3 x 9 = 27 nub marks to clean just on the spikes alone orz…
White Doll
Sturdy. Strong. Towering. Those are my first impression of the MG Turn A when just standing there. While the feet might be awkward, it can still stand flat. In fact, the Gundam looks GREAT just standing there… like MGUC stuff :)
Standing proud…
Thanks to its stability and unique design, the Turn A can actually do minute standing postures that other MGs can’t really imitate… and looking cool at it xD. This includes reproducing the moonwalk.
Man… those legs… xD
Details
The panel lines on this model are crazy! They go in every direction! The panel lines on the arms are almost like a maze. There are lines of different width, elevation, and depth @.@. it is only after building this model do I realize just how much more bizarre Turn A’s design is. The upper backside is completely FLAT. The front of the arms look like it should be side instead, and the side of it should be like the back or something. I don’t know but I think the word here is “unconventional” ^^;. I like it actually. The whole Gundam looks like sketch art with all those panel lines.
Empty compartments for storing nukes or cows of your choice. I lost the MG cow somewhere though… thing was tiny >_>;.
BREAST MISSILE! HASSHA!
Due to its rather long legs, the Turn A’s height is right up there with the Zeta-era Gundams.
No Weapons
∀ PAWWCHHHH!
Even without weapons, the Turn A looks damn good… like it doesn’t NEED weapons >_>
One of the biggest problems I have with this model (that is not the model’s fault) is it doesn’t work too well with my Hasegawa stand due to its waist design. There was just no space to insert the holder in (no rear skirt armor) and putting it in front can remove the core fighter (which isn’t exactly snug on the waist either). Even so, I refused to use the action base >_>
DASH!
Best pose to put the Turn A in. ‘Nuff said…
I can accept that Turn A’s head design might not appeal to everyone but there should be no way to argue against the awesomeness that are its legs ^^;
Arms Installation Complete
I kinda prefer it standing without holding anything actually…
No problem holding any of the weapons.
I’d hate to blasted by such a funky looking beam rifle…
A special peg is included to connect the action base to Turn A’s back but it is rather weak (Turn A can actually slide off) and the base is also obstructive to its legs… hence I didn’t bother using it.
Handy carrying mode.
The launcher formation makes the rifle look more like a beam guitar than anything else. ROCK ON!
“All your base are belong to me @#$%^ or I’ll blow your !@#$%^&*%$ing @$$ UP!”
Beam Toothpicks
Seriously… that is some thin beam sabers… >_>
The beam handles can easily slip out of its palm despite the peg holders…
GUNDAM HAMMAAAAA
The only noteworthy weapon… that I don’t remember it using in the compilation movies.
One menacing ball+chain…
Gundam Hammer looks so awesome with the stand photoshopped out ^^;. Done by Shinra1003.
Another one with added motion effect :D. Looks a lot more realistic doesn’t it? This one done by BD77. My appreciation goes out to the both of you ^^.
I would’ve liked to know how to use photoshop to remove the stand myself (I’m getting there) xD . One thing I absolutely have to praise the Turn A for is that it can stand with its leg widely apart and still hold its place without wobbling. Not many MGs are capable of such limits *coughExiacough*
HIKARI NI NAREEE!!!
I’m still left here wondering why Bandai didn’t include the moonlight Butterfly effects part… I would’ve loved to pay an extra $10 for them…
VERDICT
Even if you hate Turn A’s design, I think you find this model to be nothing short of awesome. It is well engineered, solid, well articulated, unobstructed, well balanced and one of a kind. Best of all, it comes with a Master Grade 1/100 cow!… which I sadly lost somewhere ^^; Most of the problems I have are with the waist- the leg pegs connecting to the waist were a bit short and thus, prone to coming off but usually stays on if not twisted too much (the knees want to be facing front). The front skirt (and the whole core fighter for that matter) likes to pop off from time to time (short peg again). That’s really about the only issues I have with this model. Everything else is great. For a MG around $35, I think the Turn A is one of the better choices right up there along with models such as MG Sword Impulse or Strike Noir. The beauty of this Gundam comes from within.

dang i hav to admit, the turn A looks kinda sexy (in design not ….yerh) :P
October 31, 2009 at 1:22 AM
Very interesting design. The MS in itself is so weird that it actually looks good. The weapons and shield though… I can’t get past them. Wish it had a more normal rifle and maybe not such a roundish shield.
I really wonder why Bandai doesn’t use the same kind of hands (when the kit has large enough hands) and eyes for all their MGs.
With those legs, Turn A gives me a very feminine vibe… anyone else get that? I mean come on, breast missiles.
October 31, 2009 at 1:34 AM
Also, here’s my best attempt to photoshop the stand out:

Why do you need cows in a gundam=.=? to get some milk???
October 31, 2009 at 1:36 AM
For what it’s worth, the MG Turn A was downsized. It was supposed to be 20m and hence should tower 2cm more over the MKII. The hands are slightly shrunk too, it would have looked much better if it had the Gundam2.0’s boxing glove sized fists.
The MG Turn A is a beauty, especially it one can appreciate the effort put into the design. Haphazard, awkward lines… yet it all comes together in one sleek mecha design.
October 31, 2009 at 1:40 AM
@shinra1003 ; good work. looks cool. and yerh Turn A looks femimine cuz its piloted by sum princess. i was using it in a gundam game on xbox360 lol
October 31, 2009 at 1:48 AM
Actually when I watched Turn A Gundam I didn’t really understand some parts of the story, especially the start. It seemed a little slow for me.. Heh.. But overall, I liked it cause it was like a new concept. I think this was the 5th series I watched *Gundam X and MS IGLOO OVAs to complete my collection* XD The compilation movies don’t show the Hammer?! Nooooo!
Cool moonwalk! XD *drools on sexay legs* =P

I have this! I can’t wait to get it from my friend who did it for me:
http://kaeboo.wordpress.com/2009/10/11/ghostlightnings-turn-a-finalization/
Now I feel really good about buying the kit that day. Thanks!
October 31, 2009 at 2:46 AM
@J19, the “princess” is actually a guy dressed as a girl…you’d have to have seen the show to get it, but he normally doesn’t dress like that lol
October 31, 2009 at 2:54 AM
Unlike Exia’s review where you’ve spammed a lot of pictures.. This review is spot on (in terms of picture quantity).
A lot but not that many to find it annoying scrolling down. Glad you’ve decided to do it this way.
October 31, 2009 at 3:07 AM
I don’t like turn A’s design… but this is one helluva sexy kit!
October 31, 2009 at 4:45 AM
just ordered one from Rainbow10 along w/Blue Frame 2nd revise, can’t wait for the panel lining nightmare…
Z, what did you use for panel lining Turn A? was it the gundam mechanical pencil? or a combination of grey gundam fine tip marker & mech. pencil?
October 31, 2009 at 4:57 AM
i love the turn A. can the head design be easily modded to be a conventional gundam head????? XD
October 31, 2009 at 7:02 AM
Great review as always Z ^^. Looks like another MG on my buy list! Looking forward to your battle scenes :D
October 31, 2009 at 7:21 AM
Great job on the review andd turn a Z! can anyone tell me what the r-2 of gundams is? :)
October 31, 2009 at 7:37 AM
Nice review. Bizarre is the only word I can think when I see Turn A. Never really liked it although I gotta admit the model looks pretty good.
Waiting for epic Gundam Hammer clash photos.
October 31, 2009 at 8:57 AM
I’ve grown to love this Gundam now. Yep, I’ve stepped into phase 2 of Turn A affection: dislike > love XD
Haha, nice review. I heard about the loose connection for the core fighter too. Photoshop is easy. XD Like Shinra1003 had done. Since your background is dark/black, all the more easier to “erase” off a stand.
Eh~~? You lose the cow? I was looking forward to that. ^^;
Oh, and when you mentioned “Hikari ni naree!!!”, I’ve found this:
October 31, 2009 at 10:30 AM
Nice review and great pics. I like Turn A anime and well after your review I feel that buying MG Turn A would be a good decision…
October 31, 2009 at 12:06 PM
awsome man. nice to see another review from the great Z. I actually didnt like the design of Turn A until this review. it has opened my eyes to it’s sexy legs. so frigin awsome. this showes how much Tun A owns. to quote Z, it’s like the only MS to look so good without weapons, like it doesnt NEED weapons. that’s another MG to put on must have list
October 31, 2009 at 12:19 PM
I really dont like the design of this gundam but the legs and panel lines look good!
October 31, 2009 at 3:09 PM
@ gamedingo
oh wtf i nver knew that. thats spooky =/
October 31, 2009 at 3:43 PM
Did it only come with one cow?
October 31, 2009 at 9:58 PM
THANK YOU!!!!
I’m losing intrest in Gundam lately thanks to that acursed but addicting movie Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen…I’m going to my local hobby shop tomorrow and I really need something to stop me from buying a Revlotech Optimus Figure…this Review just made my day. Sadly though, even though I love its design (especially the head) It just doesn’t have that…mean look to it…I mean I’m thinking about something more badass. However, this model has made it into my top 10 MG list, replacing the MG RX-78-2 Ver.Ka.
Review of the PG Strike + Skygrasper, ya? xD
haha, I know you don’t have much time so don’t sweat it. One review a week sounds good, just so long as you keep posting little things in between. I find it weird if you were absent for a long time…
October 31, 2009 at 10:00 PM
x_x
Correction from my comment up above; third paragraph.
“One review a MONTH sounds good, just so long as you keep…”
October 31, 2009 at 10:14 PM
Nice! Awesome review Z, can’t wait for those fight scenes! And when they meant cockpit, I think they meant it literally this time. *ahem* hhahahaha
October 31, 2009 at 10:34 PM
i like this kit, but hvnt got a chane to grab it! wow, it awesome, less is more…heheh…i found tht this kit kind of weird, as if its got moustache..hehehe…but i still like it, here in my place its sooooo hard to get a special kit like this…anyway…congrates to this kit!
October 31, 2009 at 11:02 PM
How could you lose the MG Cow?! Seeing it being stored inside Turn A’s chest is what I’ve expected the most lol
Being the 100th MG, it’s good to see what Bandai has put into for Turn A, like the eyes and leg gimmicks. There sure are a lot of panel lining to do, especially on the torso!
October 31, 2009 at 11:27 PM
Shinra, that’s an awesome photoshop job man! What’s the secret?! xD
KKTE, to make Turn A more unqiue than it already is xD.
Starghazzer, I supposed Bandai didn’t want any AU gundams being taller than any of the UC Gundams xD.
Alex, did the anime showed the hammer?
Ghostlightning, LOVE the shine on your Turn A! it works really well ^^.
Gamedingo, with his seiyuu being a female, talks like a female, character design looking like a female, crossdressing with no problem, Loran might as well be a female xD.
Forsaken, just the marker
Ercjohn, but don’t you like its bald head? ^^;
C, think “fat”
Chris, ahaha I love that video. I actually have it favorited for a long time now xD
thuguy, yep just one cow
Lelouch, take my advice and avoid the MG RX-78-2 Ver. Ka… it’s simpler than the Turn A but lacks A LOT. One review a week sounds good to me too. I can only wish I am ever that capable xD.
Q, I give the most panel lining either to the forearms or legs. I’m still looking for the cow ^^;
Everyone else, thank you for your feedback. Do let me know if there’s certain things you would like me to address or display in the fight scenes to come or in any future reviews for that matter ^^. I’ll take them all into consideration.
November 1, 2009 at 12:06 AM
Just the clone stamp tool and some patience!
November 1, 2009 at 2:58 AM
It can’t be… the R-2 of Gundams is……Seravee…?
Haha, Z, another tool for the photoshop which you can use is use the eyedropper tool, take the background colour, then use brush to “erase” the stand.
November 1, 2009 at 5:31 AM
Yep.. But the hammer only appeared twice I think..
November 1, 2009 at 5:36 AM
@Z
now im loving its bald head. hahahahahahahahaha………. it looks so “macho” with the V beard. XD
November 1, 2009 at 6:52 AM
Congratz on the finished build and review.
November 2, 2009 at 9:47 PM
That was quite a long review. My head is starting to swell. Regarding on the removal of stand:
1- Photoshop
2- Duplicate the layer
3- Use the clone-stamp tool.
4- a bit of hand pain et voila~!
:D
November 3, 2009 at 12:07 AM
Turn A used the Gundam Hammer at least twice – first time against Po in her Wadom unit and 2nd time against Po and her subordinate with a DOUBLE GUNDAM HAMMER ATTACK! Anyone who’s played Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden or Super Robot Wars Z which features Turn A Gundam can see his Gundam Hammer attack in all it’s glory.
Or you could check these out:

Gotta love it when the Hammer explodes. Turn A rocks.
November 3, 2009 at 10:00 PM
Agree with Z though for me everything else is still lovable for this model except the head/face… maybe we just buy this kit to get the body… later change the head with other UC model head… or maybe just use the Strike Gundam’s head…
November 4, 2009 at 5:39 PM
I should’ve got to this sooner (probably on Haroween… Did you make that pun up by yourself, Z? :P ), given that I was so super-anxious about a review on this (and I’ve heard some positive comments from others about the White Doll)… But better late than never. Probably more appropriate a time after I found out poor ol’ Poe Aijee’s finally got a important role as a boss in a souped-up Scarecrow (JMA-0530 “WaDom”) in an upcoming, well-hyped (which convinced me before it was announced for PSP with extra gimmicks) Gundam arcade game. Here’s hoping they possibly have Harry Ord along in his gold SUMO as a hidden unit (though maybe I shouldn’t hold my breath that much)… :)
I still have yet to get a MG. (Cut to everyone around the hypothetical virtual room of commentators of this blog in shock, shock! I tell you, shocked!) Now, I should’ve got one earlier, but due to varying circumstances of both necessity and otherwise, I haven’t. Now it’s close to Christmas, and whether or not I’m going to wait and see if family will give me some Gunpla love on December 25th for years to come (maybe I’ll get a 1/60 RX-78-2 ver. G30th complete with “Tokyo 2016″ sticker for Christmas 2016!), I’m saving up for the aforementioned, upcoming game and what’s necessary for it. I would certainly love to try it out and am convinced I’d have fun once I get used to a PSP. :)
But all that aside, one of the first two MGs I’d ever want is the Turn A Gundam. I’d probably consider getting the NG/HG 1/100 version for comparison, though Dalong has it and it’s slightly taller. I’ll get to that in a bit. Anyhow, while I initially was one of those who felt mixed about the design and was somewhat confused about Turn A Gundam around the time it came out (1999/2000), it slowly grew up on me. I sampled a bit from YT in these recent years, and developed a strong interest in trying it out, as the mecha designs (the Turn A/White Doll/White Mustache especially) grew on me so much. It looks somewhat victorian, somewhat ancient, yet also very sleek and graceful in its unique design. I also liked the way the battles were done. More than that, I began liking so much the characters and story (as well as the unique setting it takes place in) as I started on watching the anime. I would’ve like to see how Tomino would’ve taken things were he allowed more control (such as–from what I’ve read–making Loran actually female, additional Zeta-era MSs making appearances such as an actual Zeta Gundam, etc.),,,
Mainly because of that, I want to have this as my first or second MG (Wing ver. Ka as the other), though an added reason would be because of the mainly positive reviews people–especially Z’s–give the MG (and dalong’s review). The articulation and apparent stay within certain poses are definate bonuses, as well as the fact that this mobile suit actually looks good. It looks good whether holding weapons (such as in the second TAG bumper/bridge/brief “We’ll be right back after these commercials.”/”We’re back!” spots, for example) or not holding any at all (the early episodes showed that much, though it is great when using a Gundam Hammer or two). Well done, Syd! Though I’m glad Tomino didn’t use your initial design and passed that one off to the SUMO. :) And a job well done to anyone involved in the production of this MG, too. About a part of your review, Z, and I quote…
“Seriously… that is some thin beam sabers… >_>”
…You did see the anime (at least the compilation movies that people claim crammed too much into two movies), right, Z? You mentioned that before. In the anime, the blades of the beam sabers were pretty small and it looked like electricity was flowing through them. I think they should’ve had a couple of special blades that had the effect of looking like (in a snap shot) that the sabers were being spun Grievous-style (though he never spun them that fast and practical, and I still think someone from LucasFilm saw Turn A and thought of doing that in Star Wars, so the analogy should be the other way around).
Though usually best commenting on when I finally have and can tinker around with the MG (I learned that when after commenting about GFFs and when finally getting a GFF), I don’t know if I’ll find beam saber slippage a serious problem; my NG 1/144 Sandrock ver. Ka/EW/Custom/etc. couldn’t easily handle the weight of its heat shotels, and sometimes I have trouble with having some of my MSiAs (the ground Gundams and my NT1) in holding beam sabers. Now if and when I get this MG, watch as my face reaches my palm after trying out beam saber poses with the White Doll when assembled. :)
One possible fault that I can fault right from the bat–and StarGhazzer mentioned this–is that it’s not exactly 1/100-scaled but more like 1/110-scaled or something of the sort. I noticed one picture in Dalong’s review of the 1/100 HG/NG version of the White Doll and the MG version seen here, and the NG/HG version was taller. I thought the earlier model wasn’t scaled accurately, but maybe it is. But then, despite having these scales of “1/100″ or “1/144″ or “1/350″ or “1/2000″ or any other, it seems Bandai doesn’t exactly follow that, no matter the product that is supposedly scaled (I think Alpha Azieru in GvGN and soon in the PSP port is underscaled). Z even mentioned how his F-91 GFF towers over his GP04 GFF, right? I would conclude my GFF Wing and Altron ver. EW model might be overscaled when comparing to my HGUC GP02A Type-MLRS model, or possibly the opposite. I don’t know… At least according to MAHQ, the Turn A in full scale would be 20 meters in overall height, and the RX-178 Gundam Mk. II would 18.5 meters tall when stopping at its head, and 19.6 meters tall overall. Is .4 meters that much of a difference in height? I’m not good at eyeballing things, so… *shrug* Maybe Bandai’s rescaling their newer MGs to be more properly scaled? I don’t know. StarGhazzer said though that they did downscale it. If he knows about it as being true (and I’d trust him to be, since I’m no expert on who makes MGs, who scales them, and so on), then I’ll probably conclude myself it’s slightly downscaled.
But it doesn’t look like there’s much of a difference though, so I shouldn’t care much about it. The Turn A still looks accurate to the lineart, and it still looks very sharp, very graceful in its unique way. I’d still get the MG, regardless. It doesn’t bother me anywhere near as much as, say, MG RX-78 ver. Ka’s rounded, non-squared/sleek/duck feet look, and despite recently bringing it up so many times in these recent comments (I believe I defended that MG last year too. Talk about coming full circle…), it ultimately doesn’t bother me to the point of frustration. Plus it’s cheaper than any GFF with an RX-78-2, right? I’d imagine the MG White Doll is, too.
November 4, 2009 at 6:45 PM
Jeezuz Siroh, your comment is longer than any of the 8 essays that I have to type up this week xD. I’ll get around to reading this later… ^^;
November 5, 2009 at 1:41 AM
Uh~…spare us the rants, Siroh32…^^;
You don’t have to nitpick every little details possible you can think of.
November 5, 2009 at 3:51 AM
Well, it’s not as if I gave you a root canal or anything like that, have I? :P
November 5, 2009 at 5:09 AM
Haha, no… but every time I see your name, I’m prepared to see a wall of text. And being a community member on this blog, I read the comments too.
November 5, 2009 at 6:25 AM
Well, let’s just say my fingers substitute my mouth on here, and it feels like it when my fingers hit the keyboard several times per second. :)
November 5, 2009 at 12:45 PM
Siroh (finally read through your entire comment xD), I do remember quite a few remarkable Turn A saber wielding action and the helicopter whirling was one of them. The other one came from SRW where its beam saber essentially turned into what is essentially Shining Finger Sword… which reminds me this model is seriously lacking in effects part. You’ll have no problem posing this MG with its beam saber… but just don’t put any leverage on it ^^;. As for the scale, I really couldn’t care much since the whole model is well proportioned to itself. I think the only way to measure if it is actually 1/100 or not is to measure the model height in meters (or cm then convert) and multiply it by 100… but why bother when the model looks oh so good already and still taller than the rest of the cast? xD I don’t ever really believe in the scaling actually… they will always be off due to proportions and design. Exia being one of them (the MG ever so slightly taller than 1/100).
November 5, 2009 at 1:05 PM
Oh, I mentioned in the end that I probably shouldn’t worry much about it because Bandai usually doesn’t get the scale exactly right with many figures and models anyway, but the stickler in me who dreams of comparing built models and figures together would like to see how big everything could be in full scale. Probably not the most important thing int he world though, yes. And the White Doll is a towering MS, not some weak little F91 or Kapool (as much as I like the Kapool). :)
I should thank you for the review since I kept asking for it, as well as thank you for the soon-to-come Gunpla battle that the White Doll will be the star of. It is going to come, right? :)
November 5, 2009 at 2:47 PM
Yes… maybe some time after midterms this week ^^;
November 6, 2009 at 7:22 PM
Damn. That is one sexy suit. It’s roughly 90AUD here, double the price of the regular MG G-Gundam and Master Gundam, but damn. I want one. I cannot get over how great it looks. I was going to get a RX 78-2 MG, but wow.
November 12, 2009 at 2:24 PM
So Z, when are u going to update this review to include the epic MG Cow? XD
November 13, 2009 at 6:15 PM

Your fight scenes are COOL, very creative :)

AWESOME FIGHT SCENE Z!
November 19, 2009 at 5:01 PM
The fight scene, OH YEAH~! Hang on… Since when…
Cobray Gordon: *ahem* Loran… We need to talk, seriously…
p.s. Loran’s joker is mouth-watering good. :b
November 19, 2009 at 5:25 PM
I swear Turn A did spinzaku, and whats a Joker?
November 19, 2009 at 5:44 PM
lol Great starting dialogue for the Gundam Fight. Don’t we just want Turn A to grow longer moustache and a beard. XD
The ‘you can’t touch this’ is reptitive though. ^^
Once again, great poses and angles taken. Is that ZZ’s beam saber? lol
The ending is totally unexpected.
November 19, 2009 at 6:08 PM
Is dat sum Dis Astranagant reference? LOL (btw, I LOVE that mech).
The Gundam Hammer clash was epic, as for the ending… holy cow indeed, even more so as I have done exactly the same in the last G Generations Wars game against a freaking chopper for massive overkill lol.
November 19, 2009 at 7:04 PM
LMAO that fight was funny and crazy. RX78-2 can’t forehead’d Turn A’s mustache in the end. XD
Wait, where’s the cow? I thought you found it?
November 19, 2009 at 7:04 PM
hahahaha KURO REKISHI!!!, nice one!
November 19, 2009 at 7:50 PM
I take back what I previously said about Turn A Gundam. its looks style is beginning to grow on me. :)
Nice fight scenes man!
November 19, 2009 at 8:34 PM
@rndm, you see the MG cow sitting on a display stand at the start. it’s also at the ending. u see it on the ground near ZZ.
lol. nice fight scenes. like beamknight said, the hammer clash was epic.
November 19, 2009 at 9:34 PM
Everyone, as always, thank you for the feedbacks ^^; I really rushed this photoshoot though; I took only around three hours while regularly it would’ve taken me half a day xD
Gunstray, the “Joker” was a VERY SUBTLE reference to Kyousuke Nanbu of SRW.
Chris, yea I have a fondness for using that line just like my fondness for doing Gundam kicks xD. I think that’s actually my 1/60 Impulse’s beam saber.
beamknight, against a chopper? have mercy on the poor grunt’s soul ^^;…
rndm, what allen said ^^
November 20, 2009 at 2:46 AM
Holy cow, how could I have missed that? XP
November 20, 2009 at 3:56 AM
I see…I thought of 1/60 Gundams but can’t remember which one you had, since my 1/60 Exia had “square” beam sabers.
When RX-78-2 turns to only Core Fighter, reminds me of Open Get (well…2 more Core Fighters to complete it ^^).
November 20, 2009 at 3:42 PM
what IS the cow? Does it come with the model? And why? This is the first time i’ve seen a model include a plastic animal…and a cow of all things!
…
But really, what is it? is it some running gag in the show?
November 20, 2009 at 8:18 PM
^IIRC it has something to do with Loran using the Turn A to help people out including carrying a cow for a farmer(the person was a farmer, right?).
November 20, 2009 at 9:15 PM
Rndm: I thought it was a Donkey and not a cow, though. I guess I’ll have to check the anime again…
November 21, 2009 at 7:44 AM
LOL poor RX-78. He always takes the pwnings in these reviews. They’re hilarious though! Great review.
November 22, 2009 at 3:06 AM
I think your reviews is the best of entire world wide web
You histories are awesome !
Congratulations ”Holy-Cow” XD
keita could do similar histories…
November 23, 2009 at 6:49 PM
hmm, I wonder….did I inspire the Captain Falcon phrases?
haha, cool battle anyways. clash of the hammers
what happened at the end when all those suits came out?
November 24, 2009 at 2:39 AM
Zro, sucks to be so articulated I supposed xD.
Gugu, Thanks! But “best” might be a bit too flattering ^^;. and histories?
I played SSBB recently and Captain Falcon got stuck in my head ^^;. What you supposed would happen to a core fighter against a legion of some of the Gundam metaverse’s most fearsome Gundams?
November 27, 2009 at 9:23 AM
The core fighter kamikazes and wipes ‘em all out! ALALALALALALA!
Do you have smash melee? or what about a wifi brawl friend code?
November 27, 2009 at 9:25 AM
oh, yeah. So did turn-a summon those gundams with that “KURO REKISHI”?
November 27, 2009 at 9:26 AM
p.s. Sleggar Crash is tooo goood.

I played SSBB for the first time at my friend’s house earlier that week that lead me to ordering the game myself. Waiting for it to be shipped from amazon still ^^;. The Kuro Rekishi was somewhat of a subtle pun on Turn A’s ability to seemingly whip things out of mid-air… abeit OVERLY exaggerated of course xD.
November 28, 2009 at 6:43 PM
hahaha, it all makes sense now.
January 2, 2010 at 3:21 AM
Hey Z, for the Turn A`s forehead, did you paint that in with clear green? Or did you use that decal?
February 7, 2010 at 10:31 PM
Hope you’re still not waiting for an answer V… ^^; I guess i overlooked this one. I painted it in clear green; there was no way for me to be able to plant that decal inside perfectly.
February 7, 2010 at 4:10 AM
Went LOL on the Kuro Rekishi part… XD Still, that Turn A looks swell, despite the comments against its mustache.
On a side note, teh shot on your MG Wing Zero could be the best yet…
February 7, 2010 at 10:33 PM
Thanks, i think i kinda like that shot myself ^^.
