Gunpla Inochi Year 3

I am very late on this. Like almost four months late… but I’ll still talk about it anyway just because. So yea… I’ve been writing on this blog for three years already. Three years. I never would’ve thought this blog would lasted this long but here I am… going on to my fourth. Of course, I owe it to every one of you for regularly (be it daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) coming here. As always, I thank you for the support this whole time. Really, I mean it. Thank you.

PG Strike Freedoms

Gunpla is art; with creativity, one can use Gunpla to express themselves artistically in many ways. Above is one such example. An emotional work of art. I’m not even Japanese and I felt this work uplifted my spirit and boosted my morale. I won’t spoil anything so you can check out this masterpiece in all its courageous glory over at Gaijin Gunpla’s blog.

Lupes has certainly outdone himself once again with his Strike Freedom. The guy certainly know how to pick his blues- his Sinanju, ReZEL, now the SF. All have amazing shades of blue. Another electrifying work of art. You can check out his gallery here. Busterbeam is about to be done with his and I can’t wait to see it…

I’m not posting about these gunplars simply because of their amazing work, but because they are able to pull off such amazing work in the midst of their busy lives and with a deadline! Therefore, I have no excuse to not even be able to tackle a measly MG out of the box. No excuse! 申し訳ない!

I felt something ignited within me after seeing these work of theirs… my Gunpla flame perhaps?

Germans Don’t Dub Laughs!

I was rewatching Gundam Wing episode 1 and the scene where Heero cracked up after blowing away “two aries with just one shot!” was priceless and badass; we need more Gundam protagonists who gets a good laugh out of killing their enemies instead of angsting half the time (hallelujah! we also have hallelujah).  Anyway, the scene reminded me of this video that should also give you a good laugh as well xD. Astray Red Frame WISP 3: Head

Comparison between the MG and 1/100 head. While some 1/100 design will begin to look like utter crap as the MG version is being completed, the regular Red Frame continues to hold its own against its MG counterpart. I’m not saying the MG head is not stunning (it is very gorgeous!) but again… goes to show how well the original 1/100 was designed ^^;.

More Gunpla…

Yes I know I already have the two MG shown with one of them needing to be built but… these two are to be set aside for now. Let’s see if my ambition will help me carry through with what I have in mind this summer hehehe. And of course, gotta pick up two SD Unicorn just for the lolz.

PG Aile Strike Gundam Review UP!

The wait is finally over and I thank you all for your patience and support. Now without further ado, the completed Perfect Grade Aile Strike Gundam Review.

What is up…

Just gonna dump a few random stuff and unrelated thoughts in this post so I don’t have to make multiple posts ^^;. Finally picked up the Feb issue of Dengeki Hobby at my local Kinokuniya so I don’t have to pay for that absurd shipping. Both Feb issue of Dengeki Hobby and Hobby Japan features the MG V Gundam one way or another but I almost wanted HJ’s issue because it had a custom MG V2 >_>. Prepare for a very long post ahead…

MG Astray Red Frame Boxart

Badass boxart for the MG Red Frame but not quite as badass as Sword Impulse’s or the Gouf 2.0′s ^^. I would like a bit more dynamic pose similar to the PG box but this is good too. That triangle setup on its back reminds me of Delta Astray…
